I love they used different ballroom techniques here into a freestyle...I find that on Dancing with the Stars, they use a lot more hip hop and other styles, but this is great. This is much like Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson's freestyle in season (series) 4 of DwtS where it's not so far off the realm of ballroom.
I am from the Netherlands and I am a fan of SCD since Jill appeared on the show (second season I believe). Last night Arlene said that Kelly was te next best since Jill's jive. I wanted to see it again, but Jill still is my favourite.
Jill was good, but you have to admit Mark has the hips (which is so much unexpected from a very heterosexual sportsman) and Matt has the posture and arms of a dancer (which is not-so-rugby player type). Obviously, Mark and Matt danced for the audience votes..which saved both of them plenty of times from being eliminated during the series.
Yes,Mark was probably the best male celeb,though Colin Jackson may have been better...but Jill is far and away the best dancer male or female of any of them.
I totally loved mark and karen this series and I think their showdance was more spectacular but jill and darren will always be my overall favourites because they were just the best at everything else!!

I prefer this showdance to Marks and Karens. I think people prefer M & K's because it had more lifts, but technically, Jill and Darrens was better. I do like M & K though, they're my second fave couple after J & D.
my say wud be that theyu shud hav dun a few more lifts, nuffinc personal ladycblack1, but karens choreography was better that darrens, he is her biggest competor, and it's funny when we're in the car going home and she says,
"that darren bennat pisses me off, he uses the choreography that i used last week" and then she goes hmmmph

yes there showdance was great but you know come next year you's will all think some other person is better than everyone else just leave of the whole no mark was better because you know next year you will be replacin someone elses name in the place of mark!
She's always been amazing-no one has ever been better than Jill. I absolutely loved her, hoped to God she'd win, and when she did, I went mental!

Jill and Darren were SO incredible together!
Darren is officially master of choreography. I have never seen better, except perhaps by Lilya and she is of course his wife.
He also officially has the worlds cutest smile ever!!! <3

I was a bit bored by this dance if I'm honest, I mean it was good, but I think contenders of more recent series' had more exciting show dances.

How on earth does one cheat on a dance show?
Many of the celebrities on SCD will have been to stage school and been taught to dance there, so it's never going to be a level playing field.
I loved this dance and I've been dancing most of my life (albeit tap dancing)!
