That's funny I have the same evga 570 and i recently made a new build with the amd fx 8120 it and it started making a the same sound too but for me it only happens when i open up internet browsers. Let me know if you find out whats causing it, I also just upgraded to windows 7 as well so the problem could be a number of things but im gonna give evga a call tomorrow, ill post what I learn if they can help me.
next time you are hunting for a noise like that , try using a straw to help pinpoint the source . hold one end of the straw next to the component in question and the other end to your ear and listen and move on to the next component untill you find the source. easier way to find noises and straws are free. the longer the straw the better.. gets your head away from all the other components that make noise. ( paper towel tubes work too ) . BTW Nice build !!! gotta love the 570's, love mine.lol
