Poison was MEANT to be a female, but in Final Fight it seemed unethical to have a 3 guys (Hank, Guy, and Cody) beating the dog shit out of a chick. I like Hammer Mountain more because it's more versatile. You can spend several matches with a fully charged Gigas but never get a chance to use it.

@Havermayer I'm 5 months late haha, but I think both are good, depending on matchups. While you may not actually use the gigas, having the charged bar is actually good for pressuring people because they're afraid you will use it.

How does one do there super while standing still with hugo?

It's called a "tachi Gigas". Basically you just do an outward spiral on your stick, then punch.

People don't realize how easy it is to buffer a 720. It can be done with the end frames of a crouching animation if you're fast enough.

I think the second Gigas was done like standing 720... he walked back too much, so I don't think he buffered the 360 after the jab and then another 360... the first one ok, clap, 360 buffered, walked towards ken, then Gigas. But the second one... dunno. But YSB using Gigas instead of HF? LOL!

Hammer Frenzy isn't necessarily better than gigas by any means. It's just more conventional, because people are used to comboing into supers.

he buffered one 360 into the clap then walked up and did a standing 360, the game registers the whole 720, and in the second round, same thing, he buffered one into a jab. ive seen him do a tachi gigas before, jus not in this video

Yeah, with a little practice you will be able to get it 'in the heat of battle', it just takes practice. What you should do is fight good people and I mean really good. They'll push you to fight back and keep you on your toes, especially when you're Hugo. Keep practicing, and I wish you all the best with your future Gigas'ing, lol. :)

I can do it too... but not in the heat of battle... >_> against the AI... I'm fine... but when I'm playing real people... it doesn't happen as consistent as I want.

I can actually do standing 720s, literally. Pretty consistently too, like about 90% of the time I can pull it off. But even still, depending on the intensity of the match it's better to either partition it, or get it off of a parry.
