Well I know all of you think Matt Cooke is a bad hockey player but in a resent interview he said he was ashamed of the way he played last season and this season hes really steped up and hes scoing goals and not hitting every player on the ice. If he plays the way he is now than he'll be a big part of the Penguins. Play the way you are now Matt and keep it that way!!!

He can basically do whatever he wants since he's on the Pens but it's gone on to long so the NHL finally had to do something big. The 14-17 games isn't for just this 1 hit. It's for all the dumb/dirty shit he does that goes unpunished. They realize they handled him wrong and did something. Some day he'll get his and hopefully it's bad enough that he can't play anymore. When that day comes, we'll all be smiling no matter how bad it is...

The only implication from my comment is that my math skills might be off because it's probably more in the scope of 70/30 in favor of the "dirty" hits. He needs to stop with the hits. Always gave Cooke the benefit of the doubt, but her DESERVES at least 8 for that hit yesterday. It will probably be more. Not only did he cost us the game yesterday, he's putting Crosby and Malkin's health in jeopardy. Cooke takes out Savard and other good players? Well. Be sure ours will be taken out. Come on Cookie, give it up!
