Ive grown up around religion (my grandma R.I.P) but ive never had it forced on me and now listening to flyleafs songs its really made me think and ive started to pray and i dont hate myself so much any more and im a lot more happy so i can only thank God, flyleaf and lacey for being a really big insperation <3 x

You just ralize that God loves you very much, and that Jesus died for you so that you could be with Him again:) Confess your sins to Him and talk to Him--literally talk to Him. God's the best listener there is. Reading your Bible daily is good, too. :3 I recommend reading Romans or James--my favorites.
Jesus himself said He didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it … so again we see Jesus’ directive to us is to put Him first as He is the one who saves but that is done within the body of Christ which is through the church within the context of Christianity. This doesn’t mean there are no directives on how to live but they are biblical directives so we can’t divorce biblical guidelines from how we live but our salvation is not by just adhering to those guidelines.

Religion is man taking something that is beautiful and using it for greed and control. i feel sorry for the christians that get caught up in religion, they miss what being a christian ( meaning Christ like) is all about!
@Bobby072149 You may not like the term religion but Christianity is classified as a religion ... definitely to be a Christian you need to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ but you can't divorce Christianity and religion. You can't rely upon religion for salvation though, nor the works of it … salvation is solely through Jesus Christ.

He doesnt turn his back on you because no one was there to teach you or anybody else about the word and God. He will send people out so that they can teach others that dont know. But God is truely waiting for all of his children to turn to him and fall on there knees and ask him for forgivness. He wants all of his children to join him in heaven.
I think that it is so wonderful that he loves us no matter what. Even when we commit sins God hates the sins that we commit but he loves us. We are not the sin we commit so God loves us. We show our love to him by turning away from sin and by falling on our knees and repententing. And yes God does still love us no matter what we believe. God still loves you no matter what you believe or what you have done? Thats against what Scripture teaches. Im not against Christian rock music but this band does not represent God and what he has said in His Word. Pslam 5:5 says that He hates all evildoers. We all have done evil and have all fallen short of His glory. We deserved all of God's wrath but out of grave he would send His son to die and take the full force of His wrath. Romans 5:8, Mark 1:15

There's a pastor on YouTube that preaches against Flyleaf. He says that since they don't play "God pleasing" traditional gospel church music, but instead play "ungoldly, sinful rock music" that they are "a compromise to the gospel." He also says that they are "wolves in sheep's clothing" and they "aim to send multitudes of souls to hell."
I say this guy has no idea of how limitless God's love is. His video is called "The Deception of CCM." I hope he will open his mind.
I saw them play at Bogarts in Cinci. Most of the people there were drinking and you could kind of tell they didn't see the Christian side of who Flyleaf is before this concert. Lacey spoke of God's love and our value, and even thinking of it now I'm getting teary eyed. It was so powerful. They ended with this song, my favorite worship song, and it was incredible. I know she reached many people that night.

@1994DylanCody I agree with you and what makes it a lot crazier is where Flyleaf is. They're rarely in the Christian market, rarely. They tour a whole lot more in the mainstream/secular market and are signed to a mainstream label. It shocks me that the world is letting a band that is soo Christ-like influence them. They have lyrics that you can't argue where they're coming from and they're successful. It amazes me how much God is using them. Their the most Christian "non-Christian" band there.

This is amazing and no doubt that Flyleaf is amazing, whether someone disagrees or not, I don't care. Christian Music doesnt get better then Flyleaf! Thank God we have such a passionate and gratefull band like them. !

@1994DylanCody I agree with you and what makes it a lot crazier is where Flyleaf is. They're rarely in the Christian market, rarely. They tour a whole lot more in the mainstream/secular market and are signed to a mainstream label. It shocks me that the world is letting a band that is soo Christ-like influence them. They have lyrics that you can't argue where they're coming from and they're successful. It amazes me how much God is using them. Their the most Christian "non-Christian" band there.
