As far as I can discern this was note perfect - technically very astute when compared to some other Youtube performances. The only thing I noticed (similar to other renditions) the pauses were slightly over emphasised. This piece needs great continuity without appearing to be rushed - a slight uptempo with drive and it will be as close as one can get to Emerson's original performance. A great sounding piano nevertheless - this has been well recorded and the ambience is good.

Monsieur , vous êtes un réel maître du clavier , la finesse , le touché , tout indique une connaissance de la fugue de J.S Bach et du grand Maitre moderne qu'est Keith Emerson ....BRAVO !
Ah, Keith - my favourite all time prog musician - I am the same age and I remember he had a haircut like mine ...(or was it the other way round!) Anyway he is the MAN! thanks for posting,,,
Excellent playing, can't fault it, just a shame the fugue feels empty without the bass, but since you won't be growing anothe hand anytime soon, good job
My favourite piano work of all time. Great respect to you Luca. You performed this beautiful Keith Emerson masterpiece with great sensitivity and sympathy for how it should be performed and sound. And the clarity of you handling of the key chord changes at 2:15 onwards are superbly played. Keith would be delighted to hear it performed by you, I'm certain. I just wish you didn't film it this way though! I very much hope to see your career flourish as a pianist.
Hey, thanks for keeping this one alive, I've loved it since my first hearing way back in 72 with those huge headphones! Keith was my hero back then and inspired all my music interests from then until now.

If you have an mp3 of this recording, I would love a copy!! I first stumbled across this video in 2008 and I still think it's THE best cover of Keith's Fugue.. Brilliant expression, dynamics and technique down to perfection - 5 stars!
I play bass, and I love playing this and KE9--2nd Imp. I'm also the only singer/bassist I know that can sing "Living Sin" and "Pirates" together. Keith...if you're reading this....
