@mabst6 Flopped? R U kidding? It sold over 1 500 000 copies. It went Gold (500 000+) in Greece, Austria and Australia. It sold less copies than "Back to Basics" but that only means that some people don't like her new style. More albums or less albums it makes no difference everyone knows that Christina can sing.

Interesting cover but she often do too much...this terrible habit she has to oversing that song each time..I love her cover but after 2:56 it's too much for me. Everything is said no need to scream that way and add billions runs at the end...We all know that ou can baby!!!! Just sing the words, everything is said in that song...

She has a lot of raw talent and, obviously, a huge lung capacity. Having said that, her decision to perform this song in such an obnoxious manner (I'm referring to the little laughs, the "ha"s) was a poor one. While she certainly filled the room with her booming voice, I don't believe she carried the tune at all. I'd rather listen to Tony Bennett, age 80. At least he's got character, class, and dignity.

Just seems soooooo forced and overdone, like she's trying to showcase her voice at every turn and she was in a talent contest!, and even then I'm not all that impressed, because to truly be great you don't need to do that. This version lacks the honesty and power of Etta's or even Cyndi Lauper's version, and I really don't like Beyonce's version either, I just don't believe X-Tina and B's approaches are truly heartfelt and honest. Just my opinion. I do like X-Tina's song about her father tho!.
