When Gingrich was down lower in the polls than Ron Paul, why weren't they asking him if he would run in a third party? @digitalbullshit But I also think the legal definition of the corporation needs to be reconsidered. I think the concept of limited liability needs to be rethought. It is a concept that is, itself, anti-Capitalistic. Shareholders who had more to potentially lose would find a way to have greater control over the potentially detrimental actions of their investments. The inhuman back of the legal entity called the corporation needs to be broken.

@digitalbullshit People seem to think that the corporation, as it's defined now, is a natural outgrowth of Capitalism. It's not. It's a construction put together through laws and court rulings mostly by anti-Capitalist motivations--the desire to overcome competition. The corporation is, itself, a regulation. Capitalism needs to overcome the corporation. You do that by re-addressing the very definition of the corporation. If you've got a disease, you don't treat the symptoms.

@digitalbullshit I have earned minimum wage many times. I earned it for about a month. After I proved myself I got a raise. Why? My boss was afraid I would got to someone else who would pay me more. That is what competition does. What the minimum wage does is drive up prices wherever minimum wage employees shop. There use to be a bunch of kids checking oil and airing tires and cleaning windshields at the gas station. Minimum wage killed that. Now they play games or push drugs.

His position is standard libertarian and common sense. His Gay marriage position derives from a conservative Constitutional philosophy. What isn't considered enough is what effect such policies have on the individual--dumbing down, false sense of security and comfort, chronic poverty, perpetual reliance on social welfare. The most effective program for the working poor has been the EIC. Even Hayek signed onto the concept of a basic income. You and I both know the minimum wage is not a living wage. It's a bare subsistence wage.

You can find those videos on YT if you're actually ready to listen to the man. Much of it is about empowering the individual and using property rights to fight the "amoking" corporations. Many of the functions of the agencies he would close would be taken up more efficiently in other government entities. The Executive Branch of the government is itself amok.

When Gingrich was down lower in the polls than Ron Paul, why weren't they asking him if he would run in a third party? I assume that the mainstream media focus tested the reaction of voters when they hear Ron answer this, and the voters thought it sounded like Paul was dodging and view it negatively, THEREFORE the media constantly asks him this question every chance they get not because they want the answer but because it wounds Ron Paul. They just want to hammer him and this question does.
