Bethesda seems to know how to get a good soundtrack to a game. The scores in this and Fallout 3 are incredible.

@kay4x4 So do I, but it's been 5 years since this music was first installed into my skull. I still play the game, make new memories, but the old ones will forever remain, and this music will always remind me of wonder, joy, and what it felt like to first complete a number of quests.

ahh one of my favorites of the oblivion tracks considering there all the best, the whole fun of it all travelling to the imperial city with all the loot i got while in various dungeons and caves and restocking on potions at the end of every exiting day on tamriel and then go home to rest, simply wonderfuland i still play it right to this very day.

Oblivion is my perfect game... Skyrim can't replace it, Morrowind, Never could get into it... I'm downloading Arena, The elder scrolls 1, Here I come :D

I have hundreds of hours into just the vanilla XBox 360 version. If I had a worthy computer, I'd get the PC version to mod it even though I despise PC gaming with a burning passion. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are the only games I'd ever get for the PC, most likely.

@A7XRules4life woah of all time? thats going overboard. sure it's iconic, but it's boring as hell. compare town music to legend of zelda. or dark cloud. in dark cloud, each town had it's own theme. Oblivion kind of has this 3 song playlist going on, of generic harp music. its so stale, its gay. if any rpg had awesome music, it would be Dragon Quest 8. so upbeat. don't get me wrong, oblivion kicks ass. just not the music.
