Yeah, it was "one hell of a job" to give the Prime Minister of one of our closest allies DVDs that wouldn't even work in his home player, and it was "one hell of a job" for the President of a country that threw off a monarchy to give a deep waist bow to a king with an egregious human rights record. Even though a poll in New York City showed that 90% of the people they asked that voted for Obama said all they knew about politics was "George Bush was bad."

Bumblebee...I agree that we have a very uninformed electorate. Americans are easily swayed by both sophisticated and base propoganda...and that goes for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.
However, it becomes absurd for the majority of people, who have had wages eroded under the last administration, to say they are gleefuly signing up for more of the same.
As for the African-American vote, I am uncertain why you claim racism...perhaps they perceived Obama to be the better candidate?
