After looking up the words I interpret the vid as a poignant metaphor for the desolation expressed by the lyricist for an hopeless love. Poe would've loved it! The flight from a dying world only to find a dead one (Earth) and the fiery fall "from grace" (Complete with the souls-never-to-be-exhumed from the abandoned cryo-module at the end) work well metaphorically as a warning too. (Thanks Hedphelym, nice point!) My only technical niggle was the cryo ejection looked wind-blown....without air!

Ahhh yes well i see what u mean, it's easy to think it's a spaceship. That infact is the crymodule thing with the remains of the human race in it, which came unlatched from the space shuttle after they came though hyper space or sub space or where ever. So the crew land on ruined earth with a broken shit and the human race remain in space floating about with no way of being brought out of cryostasis forever... meaning the human race just ends with the 4 pilots. Good theory as that is Natural at the very end of the video they do in fact see Big Ben in ruin, and the likely hood of an ancient race of advanced humans that had the exact same land mark strikes me as odd, thats why i believe it's set in our future.

I doubt it was an accident. Instead of enduring the ice age they thought they could go near the speed of light which would cause maybe what 20 000 years to pass relative to them so that the ice age would end. Perhaps they went too far in the future?

Right lol i'm gonna type up my idea of what is happening in the video. Tell me what ya think. Ok so 3 astronauts (assuming from Earth) leave the confindes of an icy city or base. Go into space and meet up with a floating moduel carrying the remainder of the human race which also provides a light speed engine. they go through (what seems to be) sub-space or hyper-space and come out at their destination. upon hitting some asteroids the cryogenic module is released leaving the human race stranded..

Which you could see it was there (The missles hitting the ice must have been keeping it back from the last remaining city) In desperation they cryogenically froze the remaining populous of earth, (20,000 people or something) and launched them into orbit first, later sending the ship to dock and take it into a wormhole (Time speeds up outside, the iceage ends, the world is abandoned at this point) they crash back.

I think this is the meaning: It's all about the absolution. Everything has its limit. Humans are so small. They try everything to understand this universe, try their best for discovery.
