one of the most beautiful pieces written, nothing else to describe this. the master of baroque really knew how to write music. nearly 300 years after this was written it still strongly lives on
@12345Fok12345 when doing a work this size, you don't just feel sad and write it, it might have taken him weeks, I get your point but, I guess it was something more deep than feeling sad
Who in there right mind would dislike this?!?!?!?! Maybe cuz they wanted to be 'that guy'. Jeez....THIS is real music. Not any of the crap most of us listen to today, we have to go back to our routes, where music started. This is magic, it's beauty. Music is beauty--it's a gift from God.
I've loved this ever since I heard it in the films Se7en, Morgan Freeman's reading stuff in that huge library in New York at night, so cosy and chilled out.
@Manuel1995665 Wasn't there a story of when NASA sent the Voyager craft, They added information about Earth including music art etc., info for anyone "out there", Somebody mentioned sending something by Bach, Carl Sagan said "No, that's just showing off".
Bach was a true master of duets, recognizing inversions of tension and release in ways that few can truly appreciate. This piece flows as its name apparent, posing neither irony nor pretense.

I really do love this song! I think this could be a good wedding song, instead of the traditional wedding march.

AIR" von Bach finde ich sehr schön.
Allerdings hast du eine sehr schwache Interpretation eingestellt.
Ich empfehle Bohdan Warchal: Slovak Chamber Orchestra
oder originalgetreuer (Instrumente) Robert Haydon Clark: Consort Of London
oder auch Helmuth Rilling - wenngleich er für meinen Geschmack etwas zu flach/akademisch ist.
