  • Hi,

I am moroccan and I live in the U.S. as well. My family live here so I don't have to cook (I don't know how anyways) but when my mom cooks this kind of fish, she soaks the fish and vegetables in Charmola, she doesn't just spread it on top. I think when you soak the fish and veggies in the sauce, it is evenly spread for a better taste. Anyways, that's how my mom does it everyone has their own way...

    Good luck

  • hi Alia,

Does it need to boil potatoes first...?or they will be fine in oven

  • HI Alia. I like your cooking. and I try some of your dishes, its really good!! Can you please tell me what kind of a fish you use for this dish. Good luck.

  • @shiranilyn

I am using Stripped Bass - it tastes best - but you can try it with other types of fish.

  • @cookingwithalia Thanks. for your reply.

  • povero pesce... brava :-) tbarkallah rlik

  • Incredible!

My family and I loved it! I made it with whole Tilapia and it was just delicious. All the ingredients and flavors came together beautifully.

I made two large whole Tilapias and I've doubled everything else. Nothing was left over!

A really easy and beautiful dish to make. Very presentable and worthy cooking for guests.

Thank you Alia. Keep 'em coming.

  • so happy you enjoyed it!

  • Thank you so much, I will make this inshallah. So what else can I cook with the 'charmoula' marinade?

  • so 175 degrees celsius right?

  • correct - and also depending on how good is your stove, you may want to increase the heat to 200 C. Just make sure you cover the fish with foil, and bake it for 1 hour, then taste it and you will be able to tell if you need to increase the heat and bake it for a little longer.

  • sexy exotic girls and delicious food, doesn't get much better

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!!!

    tbarkelah 3lik !

  • do y count in fahrenheit or celsius degrees btw?

to be with girls who cook some food.......... yeah home cooked food by beautiful women

  • You don`t have to fly anywhere:) they are right around the block.

  • lol this is cheese on toast!

  • Hi,

I made this dish today following your recipe very closely (my veggies were not quite as nicely arranged as your video shows). The fish I used was a filet of wild caught salmon (quite a slab of fish). I cooked the fish with the skin side up and made the cuts as you suggested. The fish and the sauce were heavenly. Just perfect. The potatoes and the carrots could use a bit more cooking, but were still fine.

Thank you and your friend very much for posting such a wonderful recipe.

  • sounds so yummy! I had wild salmon this week as well but a different recipe: chopped fresh basil + garlic + lemon juice + salt & pepper. Marinate the salmon, then bake it. it was so yummy!

    cheers :-)

  • I have used half boil carrots and potatoes.........and it was really worked

  • TBARKLAH 3LIH C EXCELLENT

  • keep up the good work. i love your show

  • thank you for your encouragements! I really appreciate it.

    cheers :-)

  • Lovely jobly...

  • Alia Don't Smile Too Much , The Recipe Is Very Delicious

  • Woww what a lovely recipe...as always :) Just wanted to know if you need to add some water to the dish for the veggies to cook??? Thanks and keep it up :):)

  • this is one of my favorite recipes: easy, healthy, and totally to impress :-)

you do not need water, as the fish and the vegetables will release their juices. Just make sure to cover the baking pan with foil so the moist is kept in the dish.

  • Thanks!!! :)

  • i love it

    looks low budged too

I eat a lot af sardine and lamb rib

  • loooooool (^_^)

  • isn't one hour a lot ... wouldn't fish go flaky?

  • oh no, it's yum yum! actually, when you cover the baking pan with the aluminum paper, the moister is kept inside so the fish does not become flaky.

try it, you're going to LOVE it!

    cheers :-)
