  • Ok, now where's the IT comics? id like to see that

  • Baby, can u dig your man?????

  • How come this wasn't printed on the Mavel MAX label? We could of had all the profanity, gore and sex from the book

  • larry underwood was my favorite and i wonder how they're going to make flagg scary cause in the book he seemed more like a happy weirdo with many quotes and a few actions that said he was evil but nothing very direct exept for the rape of nadine and the scene with dayna

  • I love Stu Redman

  • Read all 5 parts of Captain Trips... Fantastic!!!

Waiting for the next part now -anyone know when it comes out?

  • LOL they make Flag look like Rob Zombie. Hell they should cast Zombie if this ever got a tv movie remake or a movie.

  • We're going to make it more illustrative? No shit sherlock ... your making a graphic novel based on a (over) 1000 page novel.

  • super excited to see what Marvel can do with The Stand. Mr. King has spun a yarn that deserves further exploration. Just diggin into The Dark Tower graphic novels. All I can say is where the f have I been. My only issue (very punny) is that barnes is tryin to get 35$ bones for this art. Not sure if the price point is necessary to pay all involved, but I would like to own, just can't justify the price. It deserves to be in HC, but free from my library suits me fine.

  • you only need to buy a million monthly issues to see the whole story lol

  • If you liked the stand you should play the newer fallout games.... sooo awesome

  • This comic book adaption is simply awesome. Best comic book series I have read in ages, much better than The Dark Tower series.

  • M-O-O-N. that spells " stephan king's book 'the stand' is going to be turned into a cool comic book, and someone just interviewed the director (from marvel) about the new comic book release which will be published soon, or has been published."

  • "M-O-O-N" that spells marvel

  • @squall600 what does M-O-O-N mean eh? why do i see it under stephen king videos??

  • @ATTACKACK In The Stand, a character named Tom Cullon (Who is mentilly retarted) spells everything M-O-O-N. Read the book, it would make sence, and also The Stand is defenitly one of the greatest books of all time. You should read it.

  • @ATTACKACK in the stand there is a character who constantly spells things M-O-O-N. because he has a slight mental disability. if you want to fully understand read the book its great.

  • I like their representation, but I always imagined Flagg as a mix between the guy on Disturbed's CD cases and Hellsing's Alucard after he regenerates in the first episode after being shot to pieces. (Feel free to look these up, you'll see what I'm getting at)

  • @Bowserboy21

As a matter of fact, Alucard in Action is a video of that exact part...it's about a minute into it.

  • @Bowserboy21 Yeah, when I read The Stand I always thought of Alucard when the name Flagg came up. Didn't think about the disturbed guy, but after reading your comment... you're right!

  • They spelled Stephen King's names wrong

  • @TheCrisisKings: "Steven". *sign* That's a shame.

  • All series in one big tome? That would be awesome! I never thought of such a great idea! I'd buy it definitely.

  • I'm loving the way Perkins illustrates Randall Flagg. Can't wait to read the rest of the Soul Survivors arc.

  • The best after the Dark Tower 1-5 I think, but still great.

  • I think The Stand is the best novel that Stephen king could ever write and I think he is not going to write a novel as good as The Stand for the rest of his life.

  • coming out just in time for the read version?

  • I'm glad they made the hair longer.

  • Me too. It's more appropriate.

  • haha lol he is a tracer not an artist... Jay and Silent bob strikes back

  • I read this comic and the book and watched the movie. It was the only well comics series(???) that i ever read and i reallllly liked them!

  • This is probably the only comic I would ever consider buying.

  • have you heard of watchmen?

  • haha

    i felt totally the same!

  • @Generationkillx exactly...

  • @Generationkillx Check out Neil Gaiman's Sandman.

  • @Generationkillx they're about $25.00 each. Really nice though.....

  • @Generationkillx You should try reading the Watchmen.

  • nice 19 ratings and 19 comments ...... im about to blow the 19 chain!

  • So how did this turn out compared to the book? I read the book and was just astounded at how much of an interesting story it was. I've known about this for some time, and want to get it, but I wanna know if its really worth it.

  • It's not being released until the end of summer, I think.

I can't wait, I'm so amazed by the book at the moment that just seeing it in another format would be fantastic.

  • EPIC. I'm going be saving some cash for this.

  • Nick was nice, didn't change,

Larry Underwood had the most interesting character arc

  • stu redman for the win. Flagg is so awesome

  • Larry Underwood?

    Psssh.

Nick Andros(Spelling? I can't remember. It's been long since I've read it.) was better. XD

  • lol "steven" king

  • Is their anyway I can read this online?

  • Marvel - leave Stehen King's stuff alone will you. For Fuck sake!

What's wrong, running out of ideas???

  • I'm betting they are. But what the hell? It's not like these comics will hurt the book. They might as well take a chance and make em, I bet they'll be good.

  • why... it's not like they don't have his permission... and the gunslinger saga kicks ass... both the books and the graphic novels

  • If Marvel did it, then Stepehn King was heavily involved.

The comic can't be any worse that the TV series.

  • M-O-O-N, that spells "Wow, a comic book series is coming out that I actually want to read. Awesome!"

  • haha yes the guy was awesome!!

  • M-O-O-N

  • where do i get this from?

  • I have 1-3 and so far it is fucking amazing! Im halfway through the novel and they are a lot of terrifying, sad and struggling moments so far and it will interesting to see how they will interpret the passages. Especially Mother Abigail's beginning and Flagg's encounter with Lloyd in the prison. The way the characters are drawn is the correct way to visualize them, its visually appropriate. I wonder how Mother Abigail will look like in comic form.

  • wow marvel with stephen king is gonna rule ass dude!!!

  • YEAH!!!! Bring on the Flagg Chronicles!! :-D
