Guys, it doesn't matter if people who listen to this song are christians or not. The first line isn't "to all the christians who hide behind a smile", it's "to ANYONE who hides behind a smile." Whether that person be christian, atheist, mormon, buddhist, or whatever; it doesn't matter. Do I believe God is a big part of this song for me? YES. Do you have to believe in God to love and find comfort in this song? NO.
I don't feel theres enough support in your statement. I am a christian but it took me years of research and looking before I came to that place. I didn't want to be a christian "just in case" or be a fan instead of a follower, and I'm not saying you are, that is not my place. I'm just saying that it takes more than "no reason not to be" for some people, and that for some people they want to make sure they know what they are calling themselves before they claim to be it.

Well, the book of Romans says that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. But that's just a positive outlook on the regular pain in life. I decided to embrace psychology and help my friends talk about their problems, and I learned TONS of people go through the same problems as you and me. Fortunately, due to my past, I can relate to everyone. I really do know what you go through. But it's ok to fall too, because God is waiting to catch you.
