@jombi77 Huh. I knew about New Fantasyland in '83, but had no clue about the 1994 restyling. I thought it was Magic Kingdom that changed theirs around that time? Interesting.

This was heavily based off the original Disneyland version.  However, in that one, there was no Snow White, and the Witch crushed you under a giant gemstone. Disneyland drastically toned it down back in 1994 because it scared the crap out of children and parents were complaining. It's weird seeing a version that incorporates stuff from the old ride.

Disneyland in So Cal. There was an even scarier version that ran from 1955 to 1982, before it was toned down due to parent's complaints. I have no idea on the changes with that (I probably rode it, but was too young to remember), but Disneyland toned down the ride yet again in 1994 to the modern version.

They really included the part where the Witch nearly rolls the boulder onto the mine car?! My mom told me when she rode this at Walt Disney World when SHE was a kid, my grandma screamed really loud at that part! I heard they had to change that ending in both versions at Disneyland & WDW because it was too scary.

Okay, seriously, that was a LOT scarier than the rides stateside. I don't remember those creepy freaking trees in the DLR version and I don't remember anyone mentioning them at WDW MK. This version is so much more detailed; even with the creepiness factor, I would definitely want to go on this one.

@AhcriSlate The reason behind not seeing Snow White in the ride often is because the ride is in her perspective; that is, the RIDERS are playing the role of Snow White in this.

@EpicKitty99 Pshh, they're already making a lot of money. Everything is overpriced haha. 3 bucks for a damn waterbottle. At my school all you need is a quarter for a watterbottle. Yeah, they would make like 4x more money if they added a KH expansion. But it also cost a lot more money to make something like that. If they do make something KH related, they need to make some replica of Twilight Town with Lazy Afternoons playing thru speakers througout the town with shop and rides and stuff haha.

I feel the best one is at Disneyland, even though it ends rather abruptly. It still offers more of an altogether storyline. The Imagineers were taking the abstract route on this one, making the riders believe they were Snow White being infiltrated by the evil witch.

Comparing it to WDW, i feel like they don't have much of the plot line to snow white in their ride. It's just snow white's witch scaring the crap out of you lol. still really cool to see the differences.
