I know this frmo the PC version [ccheats] - the rock has 50 hp, tank 4000.

this was expert, or hard, i guess. so the tank had 8000 hp.

but this doesnt matter, the rock breaks when it loses its 50 hp, doesnt matter where to shoot, just shoot on it.

i tryed it on PC:

no molotov, or pipe_bomb can break it.

i tryed it, if you wanna do, then do it, proof it.

@metallfluss Actually molos and pipes can break it, not because they hurt it but because it has made contact with them.

For the same reason a thrown molo and thrown pipe can deadstop a charger (though it requires a precise throw that I cant personally do, but have seen done numerous times)

Also, puppet a tank and throw the molo and rock at each other, you will see then that the molo breaks the rock.

rock:breaks when contact with anything.

The reason this happens is because the rocks that the tanks throw are made to break on contact with any surface or any object. Since the molotov is an object too, when the rock touches the molotov it just breaks like it hits a wall or something. In L4D molotovs are made to only break when they hit the ground or floor then that's when the fire starts. ^^

no it was the molotov cuz physics objects in L4D are messed up so a molotov for some reason can break through the tanks rock throw. Don't look as the molotov as such simple glass bottle. it's an object just like the rock and it can break it too.

uh no actually buddy the Molotov broke the rock. Me and my friends tested this out but for some reason the molotov can break the rocks. Don't look at the molotov as just simple glass. It's also another object just like the rock is, just the molotov can break through it!

The shotguns couldn't have done it. If you were at the angles of the shotgunners, they would be hitting TANK, not rock. The rock splits where the molotov is.

Not to mention, 3 autoshotgun blasts at partial accuracy will not break a rock.

The shotguns were being fired at the tank, not the rocks. I can see how one would think that the shotgun blasts were hitting the rock, but they were not.
