  • Funny the Russikies never mounted a Paradrop during WW2 to my knowledge. Interesting. Too bad you didn't scan them so we could see them better.

  • very nice set of cards

would have made a great slide show

    pity they wasn't scanned

with incorporated info from the back

ill have to see if i can find any info from the makers of the card

definitely would have made a great presentation

  • The "New York City of the Future" is from the first (and last!) Sci-Fi Musical 'Just Imangine'.

The sky is full of Personal VTOLs as by 1980 the automobile is obsolete!

    Do a YouTube search for

    Just Imangine(1930) opening sequence.

The 1st 6.5 minutes are posted.

    Google for

Marvelous Movie Miniatures Portray Cities of the Future

The set cost $0.2M in 1930! The DEPRESSION!!

Footage of the city from 'Just Imangine!' was used in the 'Buck Rogers' serials to show IT'S THE FUTURE!!

  • wow the guy in the big black helmet was from the film 'things to come' from the 30's!

it would be great to have these ! but now its too late :(

just thought i stop bya nd say hi

  • Thanks for stopping by! Please subscribe to my channel.

  • If y'havn't sold y'set of FUTURE Cards they would make a great utube slide show. Best of luck with your camera skills but scan them and the worlds y'lobster.

  • I just wish I had more time, so much for my time machine lol

  • This is the umpteenth video of yours I've watched now and I've gotta say they've kept me hooked.

Although I think you could maybe invest in a camera that has a macro setting of sorts, so we can get a nice clear image without the blurryness.

Top job though and awesome ratings all round!

  • Thank you for advice, I think I've managed to find the correct option on my camera. Hopefully, my future vids will be much clearer. I think the blurryness can be useful for my crude animation and special effects though lol.

  • I'll have to experiment with my camera a bit more.
