  • for a second i thought he was actually going to put his life in a toaster then spread butter over it lmao

  • @OMGHackerOMG uhh... funny joke?

  • It's impossible to find this video.. all we have is the song. Where's the video?

  • This is the Bocelli song, that first got my attention!

  • raincoatman YOU ARE AN IDIOT, THIS IS JOHN MILES AND BOCELLI AT THE PROM CONCERT THINGY THEY HAVE! THERE IS ALSO A PERFORMANCE WITH ZUCHERRO AND WITH PAVAROTTI AND ZUCHERRO, WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM THIS PERFORMANCE WHICH IS MILES AND BOCELLI, MILES AND BOCELLI, GET IT? MILES AND BOCELLI!

  • @checkorbet12 This recording has been taken place in the Netherlands at the so called Night of the Proms. The year 1993,remember that, the year my parents died, never forget that......

  • Where's the video? I cant believe nobody recorded this!!

  • oh :O

  • thank you so much, i only speak and read english but i always wanted to know what the words meant...thank you.

  • Krása!!!!Slavme život.

  • Brindo Alla Vita !!!!!!!!!

  • This song is demonic??? oh man... not you too, bocelli... sigh.

  • @JesusLovesYouu777

There are so many versions of the "you can be godsss" speech, first hisssed in the Garden by New Age Relgions which are actually Neo Pagan (worship Satanic Lieutenants) proving ignorance is bliss. Pity those who failed to read the word of God, before critizing a book they never bothered to read. The epitome of ignorance and it will very likely cost them their soul. By the time they figure out who they un/conciously worship, too late to be rewarded for a leap of faith.

  • @alishagaub No, Alishagaub. We Eclectics have souls that are in peace with God. Pity you for your ignorance. But this is a thread/page about Andrea Bocelli, not abour religion, as far as I remember. Why do you fanatics always have to mix religion with everything you encounter?

  • "wretched me. But I toast life" - toast life? burn life? destroy life?

"i am a sinner from the year 80,000"

    "A liar"

"But where am I? what am I doing? How do I live? I live in the soul of the world" The soul of the world? the center of the world? Hell?

"I am the saint who betrays you" - the saint who betrays you? satan was first an angel-a saint.

"When you were alone. i live elsewhere (hell?) satan attacks when we are alone.

"If there is a night dark enough to hide me"

  • Bocelli is obviously a great tenor with a sweat voice timbre. I've always liked this rendition of the song better than Pavarotti and Zucchero. I'm sorry Zucchero I know you composed it, but Bocelli and John miles wear this song like a glove !

  • TNC-- Thank You.......... once again.

You bring things forward that most people would simply not pay attention to.

    Now they might................

    ~~again--- thank you.

  • whoa! never heard the song, and it really swept me off my feet.

btw, full marks for the channel, great work with translating all those classics

  • This was actually the first song sung by Bocelli, which was in 1992. Zucchero Fornaciari was holding auditions for tenors to sing a demo version of the song and when he heard Bocelli, he said he was unbelievable. He called up Pavorotti, who was just as amazed as he was, and the rest is history. This is the song that launched Bocelli from a pianist in bars to a musical icon.

  • Everything about this song is perfect andrea bocelli is a perfect singer the best ever....!!!!!

  • AAA this song is perfect! Miserereeeeee...love the italian, love the lyrics, amazing, I toast life for it -)...

  • @julianr999 let's toast together!!! :D

  • Madly in love with this man's voice . So much alike the fantastic voice of Pavarotti . Yet with an awesome difference. Thx for the wonderful translation ... Magnificent.

    Thanks

  • @TheNewCitizen Hello at this moment in my life this song has so much maening to me, I have not cried in a long time. I need to know that I aws crieing for the rite reasons. Thank you or the translation. It has touched me. Thank you

  • Zucchero is the Italian version of the American Joe Cocker Hehe Gotta' love um'

  • No raincoatman16, this song is from the "Romanza" album. I have it in my CD collection. Andrea Bocelli sings Miserere live with John Miles whose italian pronunciation is quite good, but not to be confused with Zucchero's. You can easily check it out on Google. Sure 100%. Ok, bye ;-).

  • Yes indeed,,, but looks like Zucchero though hehehe... I can't find this video. Perhaps someone had recorded it live. =/

  • Comment removed

  • Here are Andrea Bocelli and John Miles singing!

  • ok.. cant make up my mind. But still, great song and Im Swedish so I cant tell if the pronunciation is bad or not.. And I dont give a fuck. You might be right Rocky, after all.. Please forgive if so, shut the f up and enjoy the song. I know that I will from now on.

  • Zucchero is italian though...(?)

  • too bad zucchero sings with the wrong pronunciation sometimes...etc...

    still..

    thanks for translating...

wish it were just bocelli though...

    ;x

  • lol, this is not zuccherosinging with andrea, its john miles, which is why , yes, his pronunciation is a little scetchy in parts.

  • Is it really John M? Sounds exactly like mr Z... !?

  • Sorry Rocky boa. It is Z singing- no doubt.

  • definitely Zucchero i agree

  • he is not zucchero..because he cant speak italian..

  • thats a real good song, i grew listening Andrea Bocelli thank you TheNewCitizen for this great song.

  • I doubt that boner breath had anything to do with composing the piece.

  • are you serious bono composed this???????? as in bono from u2?? im irish HOW do i not know this???!!

  • Of course! Zucchero Fornaciari

and Bono from U2 wrote this song.

    Cheers!

  • Beautiful!! Now I can finally understand the wording.Thank You!

  • Thank you for translating to english. This is a beautiful rendition - but you should hear the duet with Pavarotti and Zucchero. Out of this world!

  • I know, I know it very well!

    I am Italian! ;-)

    Thank you very much!

  • Isn't it funny how we can know what they're singing without knowing the language? I think that's truly beautiful...

  • ur welcome:)

  • nice... wonderfull...^_^

  • John Miles is also Tina Turner's guitarist / backing vocalist. This duet is among my favorites; a great performance by both.

  • holly italian what a lung on this cat

  • MAy god bless u :( DA ONLY PERSON WHO COULD UNDERSTAND WT REAL PAIN IS

  • i love this song, but with zucherro in it, who are the other 2 guys singing in this with andrea bocelli?

  • It's a duet. Andrea Bocelli and John Miles.

  • Great presentation, though this rendition of the song isn't my favorite (only referring to those including Bocelli).

  • I agree! This version is in the "Romanza" album. I think that the Bocelli-Zucchero duet is amazing!

  • best eva song i adore tell u really about u and this world may god bless u pavarotti
