Now THIS is true fashion. John Galliano is a genius. I don't care much for the music though. It should be more of an old-world feel; complete w/ orchestrations and Renaissance-era music.

I see where you're coming from, but couture has been fighting a battle to justify its position in contemporary life for a very long time and Galliano's job at Dior and his own house has long been to reference vast swathes of history and culture and make it relevant to today thus the music has followed suit. Jeremy Healey and Galliano are both, for me, genius.

@afrik88 Melania's Knauss' watered down version was that much. The runway version is much more expensive.
