I like that Palin conveniently ignores the fact that Paul Revere shouted, "The British are coming! The British are coming!" Does she think he'd be addressing the British with this warning??? But in Palin's defense, we should cut her some slack; consider the fact that she'd only heard of Paul Revere for the first time earlier that day....

Her appearance at Rolling Thunder might have been more about her and less about vets. Evidence: she blew off an Alaska Veteran Day ceremony at the state capitol when she was governor and Rep. Beth Kertula (D) covered the duties.
