I prefer the old Windows Movie Maker but the only thing what I like about the Windows Live Movie Maker is that it doesn't randomly crash like the old WMM did.

WLMM sux!!!! How can i get the older version? Now that i have gripped enough heres my problem. With old 1 you could make movie then choose publish to dvd, this wood make the old 1 shut down and start dvd maker. with WLMM it saves the movie (which takes forever) then it closes, opens dvd maker where i have to wait again for encoding (with old version this was the only time you had to wait). Do i have my settins set wrong or anything else any one thinks i may be doing wrong? PLEASE SOME ONE HELP!

1)Imovie sorta did a good job of improving? THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB!

2)Imovie lets you zoom in and out, if I remember

3)Imovie lets you split videos with a keyboard shortcut!

4)Movie Maker Live would be better if it was compatible with XP and they didn't remove changing speed!

That was in Pinnacle Studio, not Movie Maker. Although apparently some people have figured out how to get green screen in Movie Maker.

I have to say, this version of Movie maker looks like a step (or 2) backwards from that which graced the final editions of XP.

I think I'll be buying an alternative than getting this as a free download.

Nice video,very informational.You are very right about it taking a long time to export, I am currently exporting one right now and it is taking for ever. I do like it though. One time I was using it though, it kept on crashing on me. Do you think that it was just messing up, or because I was using a program called true transparency(makes your buttons look like mac buttons,maximize,minimize,clos­e,),but it is not supposed to make much of a difference on the performance,it takes up little space.TNX

The Mac is faster for doing stuff on the internet, I sometimes use it to film because iSight is AWESOME, 3D modeling goes smoother.

But my family has been using Windows for years, so we have so much Windows software, which of course only Windows is useful for. :P

I'm usually just on one computer for the day, yesterday it was my PC, right now (I'm typing this) on my Mac.

Actually, I think it's easier to use than iMovie :P

But iMovie loads faster.

BUT, WLMM ALSO loads fast.
