  • DelMonaco had a clinic installed in his home,I dont know the date but his last years he suffered a kidney ailment and was on dialysis.Thrilling was the word that described his voice,we long for such a male voice in todays Opera. 1915-1982

  • Sadly we can hear a Tenor who´s lost his powerful and brilliant voice, as he had in younger years. That´s probably the destiny of most of the professional classical tenor´s. Nevertheless i like him very much ! I would like to know, how old he is in this video ?

  • @pullypally HE DID HAVE TO LIGHTEN HIS VOICE AFTER THE BAD CAR ACCIDENT HE WAS IN. THAT ALONG WITH POUNDING ON THE VOCAL CHORDS FOR YEARS DID NOT HELP&NATURAL AGING BUT NO MISTAKE HE WAS A GIANT IN THE OPERA WORLD WHO THRILLED AUDIENCES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

  • @pullypally i dont know how old he is, but you're hearing a tenor who survived an almost life/death car accident, who lost all bodily function of an opera singer, but still managed to get that gorgeous sound out.

  • @pullypally he is 61 years old..............
