My buddy and i installed AEM true cold air intake, $350.00 and 3 hrs in his driveway, had to remove the front end of the car, but it sounded sweet and he can get 2nd gear to bark now.. I ran him at a 40 roll in my hyundai, dead even to 100, but after install he had a car and a half at 80.

Are you running a header? I think the exhaust sounds pretty good as is. One suggestion: If there is a Mugen twinloop application for your car and you have the bucks go for it. In my opinion, Mugen has the best Honda sound. It's not like a motorcycle, but more like the low rumble of a built Mustang with the volume turned way down, of course. I think youu are doing the right thing by keeping the car clean and going for mods that actually improve performance.

That is not even possible, a single cam engine will have that cam working both the intake and exhaust, a dual over head cam has one camshaft working the intake and one working the exhaust. Cam's are basically what chooses how much air your engine is given (i.e. high lift, as well as duration(how far in the RPM's you can go). A double cam engine is a double cam engine and a single cam engine is a single cam engine. End of story.

cold air intake lets the engine suck in air that is cooler than what it would take with a shorter intake (stock for example). Cooler air=thicker gasses=greater when the pistons compress gasoline to get that ignition power. More gases will expand in the engine creating better power. Better words...cool air is richer=happier engine w/better fuel:air ratio=better burning of gas=more HP.

the air is cooler because the intake draws its air from the bumper, not because the intake is longer. stock intakes draw in warmer air because it is close to the engine, and the engine produces a lot of heat as you all may know

That's a sort of launch control, mercedes's and bmw have it too. The redline in neutral is lower then when you are driving, to prevent damaging your engine when cold.
