When the pitcher is throwing the ball, use slow motion and right after the ball leaves his hand, put the cursor ON the ball. You will see it snap to the ball. After that don't touch the joystick. Just hit play, or slow forward shuttle.
I was TRYING to get closer to the arrow, but it does that thing where you get under the ball, it doesnt let you move fast, it stops you from moving fast so it can catch the fly ball.
Well it stopped me from moving, so I couldn't get to the arrow. He just wouldn't walk towards it. It went into pop fly mode to catch the ball, and just wouldn't move.
i was once playing and the runner at second ran to third and when he was lmost there he turned right into the outfield

thats because your to far off from the arrow...get closer and he will catch it
