Although I love Helen I am perplexed over so many rave reviews. Here, she copies the original singer of the song Mary Wells so much, it's almost embarassing. Had she used her full, distinctive voice, the result would have been much better.

She deserved a much longer and more successful career, but it was very hard during the so called beat music era, with groups like Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks and numerous other ones to get airplay or she was simply mismanaged.

What an amazing cover of one of my time greats, and to think the song I know for is 'Walking Back to Happiness'. I do think this is better than Mary Wells's version, but it's a close run thing.

She is awsome, never heard this before was a big fan of her hit recordings. She really matured into what we thought she would. Didn't notice her neck but I remember that Helen did suffer a goitre in the sixties and had to have surgery for it so this was probably pre surgery.

@1lordthorpe Hi! About her neck, this could be caused by her thyroid. As her big thyroid could also be one cause to her so special voice, by pressing on the nerves controlling the vocal cords.
