Why would someone abduct children? Lindsey is somewhere out there dead or alive. I always think about where she could be. She should be returned. I heard there's even a $20,000 reward donations helped!
make the cops and the FBI drag the child rapes in 20 miles around her out go throught there home yards and do this ever time a kid goes missing. Like in the Miltary one person makes a mistake they all pay for it. If we going to let them live than let there live be hell. yes we need to be better parents
how about also opening and account and start putting money in to it for the parents of the missing kids can hire a real PI to go and find there kids. it seem that the only time we find them is to late I think its out of fear that cops and the FBI has to get drag in to court by going to far over the line of there rights. I think there rights are gone when they rape a child even if they do the time.
you know what, she does look like you, and your both very pretty. you should be really careful about where you post your face though, think about it, okay?
Us small town people who think its safe and all..well, not no na think anything bad can/did happen, but, please dont blame the mom. She's alot like us all living in these small towns.
with everything that has been happening with children I haven't let my son out of my sight unless he's safely asleep in his room at night. he's 11 and when we are out, if he has to go to the restroom he either goes in by himself if it's a single person occupancy or he goes in the ladies with me (while I cover his eyes) . I know he thinks I'm crazy but I just couldn't live with myself if I slipped up and something happened to him!!
After age 6 with my son, I let him go into a restroom by himself however I was standing right outside the men's restroom. When a man went into the restroom, I looked directly at them so they knew my purpose of standing there.
My son didn't want to come into the ladies room with me anymore so we made a deal ... and everything worked out fine as he is now 41. :)
we live in a small town where most all of us know each other, and for the most part I felt safe here but you just never know these days. I'm lucky that he's still kind of a momma's boy so I keep him as close as I can for now.
here in Australia a 13 yr old girl in shopping mall with dad and brother waited outside, she was raped and murdered..scary..I always take my children in son is 10, if not use disabled or my husband gets her to go in and check and then come out and then he waits at the door...it is shocking how many very small children are left to go in alone because parents can not be bothered and as for walking home alone at 9pm that is terrible. missed your channel, took a break for a while!
Gosh, I guess things have changed from then to now. I am so cautious for my kids, my 13 and 11 yr old boys think I"m being too strict because I don't let them out whenever they want or for as long as they want. And my 2 year old girl, gosh, I can't get myself to trust anyone with her except with my dad and my 2 boys. It is scary out there. It seems like all these crimes are making me fearful of people.
It is getting totally frustration hearing about another child would is missing after leaving a friends home after 9:00 PM. There is no excuse for a parent not getting their child so the child doesn't walk 6 blocks. Six blocks could be a large span considering 6 blocks in New York is endless.
I am at a point I don't care if the parent(s) see these comments because there is no excuse for not walking or riding to get you child.
Hasn't this family tuned into the news lately to see what happened to Sandra and Nevaeh. They were just outside playing or walking to their friends.
I don't even walk my dog up my block at 9:00 PM. I don't know if someone is lurking in-between the houses or if another dog might run out right after us.
You can't even give me a good enough excuse at this point to satisy me why you couldn't get your child or why you didn't ask the other parent(s) to walk your child home.
Enough is enough parents, get your act together already.
This is not a class thing. I live in a very affluent area, and there are people leaving their kids from 8am - 12pm then they pop in to lunch then they are off again 'til 6ish. Did i mention these kids have no access to their homes? I am inundated by crying children who are hungry and hurt. I don't want 15 Kids, but feel responsible. You are spot on Patti, get a grip parents!
Don't think i haven't thought about it. When i have asked neighbours about it (one is a Doctor) they say that all the neighbours are keeping an eye out. Isn't it the case that people close by are the ones who take the children? I have a bit of thinking to do as this isn't an easy one.
They don't care either I was treated badly in family services. Government is not there to be baby sitters. Parents do your job the government won't do it for you.
Well said Patty...My Son is 9 an I still watch him cross the street an go inside his buddys house , I have him call before he leaves so I can watch him return. I catch alot of flack from diff people that I'm over protective. I always say its not my child I can't trust its society in general. You just never know whats around the corner at any given time.

This girl lives in my area. It is such a small area and I want her to be found so her family can live happy.

It's time you call family services on these families that leave their children unattened for all these hours.
Sierra1947 in reply to alabam5 (Show the comment) 2 years ago
they definately need an intervention!
