I was there in the thick of it. Many protestors were ring-ins and not local and were stirring things up and rallying others to disobey police orders. It's cool people have beliefs and opinions, no worries but when you are warned several times by police to move and you disobey, don't fucking whinge about the consequences.
And to those clowns "enriching" this thread with such clever and useful remarks as "hippie morons" or "smoking them out": Most likely you have low to no education, are unemployed or stuck in a blue collar job. You are definitely NOT part of the 1% that makes all the money. So, YOU will be the first to benefit from this movement. Sadly, yet unsurprising you lack the capacity to recognise that. Be grateful that these people sacrifice their time and well being for a greater good - or just shut up!
@fraktalfabrik "You are definitely NOT part of the 1% that makes all the money."
True -- all that means is that its not only the 1% who hate hippies -- any hard working person who has a job ( even if they arent in the 1%) hates stupid dole bludgers and hippies to are too lazy to work.
Most people who pay taxes hate hippies -- why should I pay taxes so stupid hippies can just sit on there ass and smoke weed
To all ppl who ask "what's the deal with occupy", here's a personal example: Paypal had no problems (for 10+ y) TAKING money from my bank account. But PUTTING my money in requires you to fill out and fax(!) forms, wait until they are approved, etc. The process is unnecessarily difficult and non-transparent - the exact same account, only direction of flow is reversed. In the meantime Paypal collects your interest. So, why occupy?”:BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SICK OF GETTING PUSHED AROUND BY CORPORATIONS!
@fraktalfabrik "Paypal had no problems (for 10+ y) TAKING money from my bank account. But PUTTING my money in requires you to fill out and fax(!) forms, wait until they are approved, etc"
Hmm if you have a problem with paypal you either take it up with customer serivce or the ACCC -- that is not a vaild reason to protest
When seeing Patricia McAllister's web site:. "Zionist Jew Fed Reserve.com.."- don't miss Dr David Duke's interview of her on Utube. Feature that- KKK man having common interest with African/American. Fired from LA School district 4 telling the truth.. Telling the truth is a powerful revolutionary act.. Being fired makes it self evident truth. Also check out the '45 Goals of Communism' put into congressional record 1963. Rabbi Steven Wise said “Some call it Marxism- I call it Judaism.”
@Shaunhification Ok, for suggested reading I would recommend researching 'intentional communities' and 'eco villages'. ic(dot)org is the best place. Also the 'freeman on the land movement' And Rainbow Gatherings, Winter Solstice gatherings, and all the festival culture really. Tribalism is usually just operated on a Tribal anarchy, we look after each other because it feels good. There may be councils of elders and leaders, this is natural, but life is based on mutual agreement and mutual aid.
@astralwalk Also, for research about the philosophy of True Anarchy and Mutual Aid, I would recommend the research of Elisabeth Sahtouris, the work of Peter Kropotkin and Willis Harman, also the work of John Lash in his book 'Not In His Image'. There exists far more evidence for symbiosis and cooperation in nature rather than Darwin's kill or be killed junk.
@Shaunhification True Anarchy already is happening, it already does exist and people live by it already, mainly in small sovereign communities. It's simply a tribalism and communality based on mutual aid. Not everyone needs to join this way of living, I'm not out to recruit people, I simply live my way and they can live theirs. We are told over and over that we don't know how to get along, I think that's utter bullshit.
@astralwalk Correction, They can live theirs, as long as it doesn't threaten the natural balance of life which it currently does, thus we take action.
@Shaunhification But George Bush is a Christian, The extremists say they are the true believers acting out the divine plan. They were true Christians who commited mass genocide on the pagans of Europe, Or the genocide of the tribes of the Amazon when the Spanish arrived, to spread the religion of love, The true Christians who began the Pharmacratic Inquisition which still continues to this day. The mass pedophile ring in the Churches? All these things are done by "true Christians".
@Shaunhification I don't have to try and demonize Christianity, a simple look in the history books reveals the horrors it is responsible for. It is a psychotic belief system of the highest degree. I reccommend a book called 'Not In His Image' by John Lash. I would love if we just had some sane people running the show who were aware of the sacredness of the Earth. To be honest, I don't have ideals of democracy, I prefer True Anarchy and mutual aid.
This was footage, comments and thread about police and protesters and the moronic idea of it being police brutality. With all the diatribe being spewed out now it's been hijacked by wannabe intellects trying to outwit one another.
Way too many fancy words and diatribe being spewed out now. This was footage, comments and thread about police and protesters and the moronic idea of this being police brutality. It seems it's been hijacked by wannabe intellects trying to outwit one another.
@Shaunhification Well for one the majority of politicians declare themselves Christians, When taking an oath, a politician puts there hand on a bible. Religious lobby groups have huge influence, especially Zionist lobby groups like Friends of Israel who our current Prime Ministers husband is a member of. Our most likely next PM will be Tony Abbott who is basically a fundamentalist Christian. It would be ok if we had Buddhism or something but Christianity is a toxic, pathological belief system.
Having lived in Sweden, I can tell you we do have it good here. This is an argument no one will win as we all have our own strong opinions and for different reasons. I take offence to all the police brutality comments as that is a load of crap. The vast majority of those who claim cops are dogs and pigs etc weren't even there and I bet most of them are crooks or have been in trouble with police and have their own agenda to push. People just like to use colourful language to embelish it all and
The $900 did go a long way, it helped me buy my son a laptop for school he would not have otherwise had. We have it good here and I've travelled most of the world to be able to compare. Protesters are way off the mark.
@bazwaa007 but why you think we are "way off the mark"? of course we have it better here, but there are other countries like sweden and norway have it even more better and alot support the movement. ive been to third world countries and it sickens me that children go hungry because they dont have money. the movement is about equality. we want to change the system, so that every man woman and child having the basic human right to food water shelter education electricity.
@ruthless2001 "ive been to third world countries and it sickens me that children go hungry because they dont have money"
LOL - the lack of money isnt the problem -- even if people in third world countries had money it is useless unless they have the infrastructure to produce food.
The big problem is that even if you were to simply give third world countries more food -- most of it will go to some warlord or corrupt goverment offical
Anyone who protests in Australia is a fucking idiot.
We have a AAA credit rating, we have tons of jobs available, great worker's rights, we have one of the highest standards of living available, the government is investing heavily in to developing infrastructure and schools, hell they even gave us $900 for FREE to spend to get us out of the recession and it WORKED.
These people are just a bunch of spoilt middle-upper class yuppies with nothing better to do.
@Woolfrey you are so conditioned by the mainstream media. so blinded from the truth. you obviously have not did your homework or even talk to your neighbours. let me give you a tip. The media is there to 'sell' you a story, not 'enlightened' you. Have you looked at whats being shoved in our mailboxes????..27 different retail catalogues. 50%, 60%, 70% off sale, everyweek???? geez that $900 went a long way didn't it!
@Woolfrey 'Boost' is a spin word to sell to the public. $900 was to soften the blow of our economy and encourage people to be in more debt so the banks can profit more from the interest. The increasing number of catalogues is because it's a desparate attempted 'boost' sales. I have never seen 50%, 60%, 70% sales every week in my lifetime till now. Mortgage rates, electricity, gas, food, telephone, insurance, petrol..etc costs are threw the roof.
Regardless of whether it "boosted" or "softened the blow" (YOUR spin). People in the US lost their homes and their jobs, our government put money in to schools, housing and roads to create jobs and gave us $900 to spend which in turn helped us avoid the recession. You are a greedy, ungrateful bastard.
Think about it from this perspective... we can sit ourselves in a man made & designed metal transportation vehicle, drive any where we want without being questioned, we can drive for 1 hr or 1 year, and no one can tell us we are wrong. THIS IS FREEDOM.
These hippies in these protests want to take this away from us, therefore our freedom to choose as well.
@ozleftistman How about you speak for yourself. You're the ones that claim to represent 99% of us. What a load of shit. You'd be lucky to have 5% of people on your side after that effort on the weekend. go fuck yourself and shower.
@rxonez1 Stop being such an arrogant prick! You know nothing about me. As it happens I wasn't there in case you didn't know well now you do, I just sympathise with the protesters. You've got no proof that all of them are 'hippies' let alone 'jobless' not one jot. I don't make assumptions about people's employment status because that's just rude.
@ozleftistman Watch the videos. The ones that had to be dragged out by the police were all hippies. Stinking, dirty, jobless, rent-a-crowd hippies. Melbourne is the best city in the world and i'll be damned if i'll accept this shit. Especially if they try to speak on my behalf. That's just rude.
@rxonez1 Well I thought that there might be some pretty women there although I don't know what their sexual preference is. Someone else referred to it as "this hookup place". The comment is right at the top.
"You've got no proof that all of them are 'hippies' let alone 'jobless' not one jot. I don't make assumptions about people's employment status because that's just rude"
Then why aren't they all at work -- they have so much free time that they can all take the week off and protest.
@ozleftistman why not -- just look at the crowd --now I not saying every single one of those protestors are bum and smoke weed.. but its generally true -
You don't anyone is a suit and tie in the crowd. ( or even a collared shirt)
Not my fault this crowd of people reinforce the sterotpye
@rxonez1 i do have a job... but people like u are just afraid of all the changes if ur smart enough you will see that the world can be a better place;)
Capitalism will fall, that's a guarantee. I work and i didn't participate in the protests, i certainly believe that people should stand up and shout what they believe in. I am apart of the corporate world, because my family comes first and i want to provide for them, but i am not a willing participant. I want change.. and trust me.. Change is coming. The americans are falling.. They are no longer the most powerful nation on earth. Their word will no longer hold strength in time.
horrid capitalist trolls on this page, capitalism equals, a few get very rich by exploiting workers for little pay, we strip the world of its resources and die fat.
we are not all selfish pricks, some of us want to share what we have, we need change. to MRMILO57 , one thing history teaches us......NOTHING STAYS THE SAME. THINK ROME......CAPITALISM PEAKS AND FAILS. OCCUPY THE PLANET.
@astralwalk and others, did you people write that crap while wearing your nikes and /or sporting ipods and other "corporate junk" you get brainwashed into buying and following on a daily basis? twitter, facebook... lol. I'm amused by the antics of people who buy V for vendetta masks and try to change the world, one hipster at a time. Gte back to whatever chan you people spawned from and stick to shopping memes about Scientology.
@ihaterobbie123 .....Well let me tell you someone, you small minded little skank!
Your type have been trying to bring down the capitalistic world for 60 years, and guess what!!!....you have failed!....
The world is bigger and stronger than you could ever imagine.
'Capitalism' is king, the pinnacle of human achievement and greatness. I know! I know, you don't want to hear this, but for you, the truth really hurts.
So cheer up and smile, get on with life and live :o)
@MRMILO57 I don't agree with everything the occupy movements want, but holding bankers accountable for gambling with other people's money is something everyone should want. I haven't heard one single argument from right-wingers absolving the bankers of any wrong doing, that silence tells me the only thing between these thieves and prison is the money they pump into the corrupt American political system.
I'm not going to look away from this injustice like you've chosen to. You're weak, I'm not.
This eviction is ilegal because TRAITORS in our Government commited TREASON in changing The 2000 Act as well as 1958 Act Sec 44 this is why 53 pollieshave been charged with Prision Of Treason by Brian Shaw including Gillard. So get ready for World Global Government RFID chips in in our bodys , USA got 820 FEMA Camps Australia has 20 . Agenda 21 Sustainable Development is for Genocide & slavery. Obama has just said he is to rubber stamp Assasinating Americans WAKE UP things are gonna getbadnow
@astralwalk Although I agree with some of your points, Obsession with national security and war and military and identification of enemies/scapegoats as unifying cause has no place in the occupy movement.
@TheMrDenim I don't think you understand the point I was making. Those are characteristics of our society not of the occupy movement. But I think the occupy movement has been co-opted anyway.
@noirkitten Explain how making it illegal for someone to experiment with their own consciousness using natural plants is a flawed example please? I think you are just afraid so you give me labels which society has programmed you with such as "lunatic" and "paranoid" When in fact just research the Rothschild banking cabal for evidence of some of the things I speak of. And yes I would reject them if I ever got cancer because nature already provides a cure, research Rick Simpsons Hemp Oil.
Hypocrits. They spread the message via facebook (a multi-billion dollar company with a multi-billion dollar man as boss), they ride their bike made of rubber wheels (rubber from mlti-billion dollar oil conglomerates) , they live in wooden houses and write on paper signs (that rip down forests). Sh*t, i could go on forever! These low-life scum should look in their own backyards before trying to cause unwanted trouble. They should be true to themselves and ive less hypocritical lives
@noirkitten What are you on about? You don't think we have fascist laws and I give you an example of one and you just spit back crap, and it's not just weed, google Australian government to ban 1000's of plants. Actually plenty of people are serious about standing up against tyranny, your just not one of them. How have you gotten the idea that I perceive myself as special? talk about personality projection. You say I'm paranoid but really your just afraid, and no thanks on the Big Pharma meds.
@noirkitten Yes, the Australian government is largely run by fascist laws such as it being illegal for a person to ingest a natural plant, pure fascism. I have to ask you the same thing if you are serious that we live in a paradise of freedom when we are forced to pay taxes to the Corporation of London and people can be thrown in jail for voicing an opinion.Rread up a bit cause you got a lot to learn, Rothschilds, Rockefeller eugenics, Commite of 300, UN Agenda 21, Codex Alimentarius
@noirkitten Actually I do get to pick and choose, Being a member of humanity I have that right. The money I paid was in exchange for an object and no it doesn't really go into the hands of my enemies because as I said my enemies are international bankers who serve no purpose at all other than the rape and pillage of nations. There is a separation between psychopath control freaks who create such things as Agenda 21 and Codex Alimentarius and people who invent things.
@noirkitten My problem is not with technology or human creativity and inventions such as computers. I own one computer yes, no I don't own a TV, I do think there needs to be an intelligent social discussion about how much "stuff" we manufacture though, my issue is with the ever increasing slide towards a fascist police state who has it's agenda dictated to it by a criminal cartel of bankers and military industrial corporations who seek to bring in a transhumanist NWO.
Also, I went and spoke to them to try to understand what they stood for and no-one could tell me. There was no spokesperson and the only thing I could get out of them that was concrete was that they were against capatilism and they all believed different things. As a leftie myself I believe that their premise was good, and their intention, but the execution left a lot to be desired and I think more harm than good was caused.
Wonder if anyone knows that a certain contingent of these people were harbouring weapons in their tents, the smell after a few days there was repulsive, people were bathing and pissing in the water feature, plus far lefties joined as well as recently released prisoners. If it was just Occupy Melbourne people, it most likely wouldnt have come to this. It became a dangerous situation and a health hazard.
the cops of this planet have lost their f'ing minds. i hope they get what's coming to them.all of them. ppl are finally rising up! i hope we overthrow the whole damn world!
@savageveg I agree. They should get what's coming to them, as it is a difficult job and they are doing it well.
Imaging having no choice, but to be used by protesters just to gain emotive media coverage and garner support. Putting the police in danger just to make a political point seems a little a cowardly and unethical to me.
The people who they were actually protesting against weren't present, so the protesters had to put the 'black hat' on somebody that they could yell their slogans at.
@astralwalk More rhetoric? Australia is society made up of 3 systems that gift ultimate power to the people.
The democratic system empowers voters to elect any government they choose. The leaders are 'us'.
The capitalist system enables consumers to decide; which products are made, what companies survive, the value of stocks and shares, and everything that appears in the media.
The judicial system entitles juries of peers to create the laws and decide what's just.
@inaicrnd 1.We don't have true democracy because politics is controlled by a cartel of international bankers and military industrial corporations. Your simply voting for which puppet you prefer.
2.The financial system is not operating on true capitalist principles, it is far more accurately defined as corporatism, mercantilism, or fascism.
3.The judicial system is largely set up to protect the leaders of both points 1 and 2 and to enforce authoritarian laws such as the fraudulent war on drugs.
1. Become a puppeteer or enter politics. If you are representative of the people, you will get enough votes to gain power and make the changes needed.
2. All companies survive on profit. We are their only source of income and labor. That is why so many billions are spent on advertising recruiting and market research.
3. On this point I agree with you, since WE are the leaders of both points 1 and 2, though the drug debate is superfluous to the argument.
@inaicrnd 1. No I wouldn't be able to change things because as I said politicians do not control things, an international banking and war cartel does. I have no desire to become a psychopathic control freak.
2. I don't see your point, I will simply restate that the economy is not run on true capitalist principles.
3. No, we are not the leaders of the governments or the economy, bankers and warlords are. Hence my original point that the judicial system is controlled by these people.
@astralwalk You "wouldn't be able to change things" because "politics is controlled by a cartel of international bankers and military industrial corporations"? How did we arrive at such different world views.
Let me try something. If something stirs within as you read the list of companies below, it might shed some light as to what may be occurring here.
@inaicrnd A list of fictional corporations, so what? I arrived at my worldview through research, read up on UN Agenda 21, codex alimentarius, commitee of 300, rothschild and rockefeller bankers, crimes of the IMF, New World Order agenda.
@astralwalk It just sounds like the plot of nearly every video game on sale.
The reality is that you can't get into government without our votes, business can't survive without the profits from our money, and we are the jurors that create laws, and our representatives make the legislation.
If you can name a better country that is non-capitalistic, non-democratic or has a different judicial system to our own, then please let me know.
I will gladly pack both our bags and pay for the tickets!
@astralwalk Malcolm X: "the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." Most people believe that the corporate media is capable of telling the truth. It is not. But because this belief persists, they absorb the biases of those committed to conveying a fascist corporate agenda. Sad.
@BeholdZeus Exactly, and then they label you "paranoid" when you inform them the media is controlled by people and organizations who's agenda is certainly not to inform people of what is actually occurring in the real world but simply to confuse people and keep them in a materialistic trance of "shopping for the best deals." For anyone struggling with that concept, Wake the Fuck Up!
@noirkitten perfect example of how some are lethally mind locked into this system! 4 barrels to 1, bank bailouts for their gambling habits, wars predicated on lies, poverty & unemployment racing higher/houses & savings gone/mental disorders from bio-social pressures, on and on and on...
Equal distribution of resources to all humans without a price tag is where we're heading and implementing a Resourced Based Economy Model for sustainability is what's important for all of us!
@noirkitten No you are right, there "are" regulations on here, my mistake. But i think generally speaking it's rather open and gives you a broad range of topics to explore whereas TV just gives you something something scheduled. I won't go into this any further though, i don't argue with women (although my ex didn't mind doing that with me.. lol). Take Care Kitten :)
@noirkitten Fair enough, i completely understand, especially if you are a girl but please be careful on here, i am very protective guy when it comes to women and children and i would hate for some idiot to screw up somehow. No, don't open your account for any length of time, just keep it closed, although i do appreciate the offer ;). With the Kitten handle, oh i don't know, there are "some" guys out there that would embrace that handle... lol (not me though).
@noirkitten But you may say what you wish and i do apologize for labeling something you are clearly not which is person with an actual account on here. Have a good day.
@noirkitten The hippie mentality i do find rather pathetic though, if they expect to be taken seriously they need to lose the tree hugging look, clean up their appearance and form a clear argument within their protest.
@noirkitten Yes of course YouTube is run by businesses but then there is also the freedom to post on here while it's still possible without regulations. The Internet is a our greatest resource so as such we should use it! I am no nut, nor conspiracy theorist..etc.. when it comes to such things but historically and evidently we can see what happens when ordinary people don't have a voice and it's best to be premature than too late.
@noirkitten I have had nothing to do with the protest whatsoever tough guy, i merely noticed your channel was inaccessible (funny how you hide your details and you call me a pussy) and "assumed" that you were a bot. Let me tell you something little boy before you start playing tough guy, and that is "do not underestimate" those for whom you converse with on here, you are not a man, you hide in YouTube, you show no details and as a sign of your manhood i would like you to make a video.
All these fucking hippies who clearly have nothing else to do! They all have failed arts degrees!
Are these people stupid? Protesting against corporate greed, yet everything they own are manufactured by the very corporations they are accusing of being greedy.
My room mate is a cop & was one of the officers punching these fuckheads in their fuckhead, & he said they smelt absolutely putrid & must have not bathed in a long time, 80% of the faggots that were arrested had no job & pockets full of weed.
Really??are they helping people who earn their living day by day?? All I see is disruption of shops and workers who need to use the road. And thanks to them there were no trams for the whole day
@LACOS10 Hey LACOS, disrupting the day of people who are in the area is a small sacrifice for the sake of humanities social inequalities etc.. to rise above an outdated paradigm, waking up the hopelessly enslaved from their fable they are all 'occupying' is a true testament to the spirit that wants to be free from these horrible mindsets that have plagued us too long, that has elevated small groups and leaving the majority to fight for our birth rights to all resources on this planet. live free
I have looked, and I don't see the police brutality. All I see is police asking people to move, then carrying them away when they don't. And for all those people saying this is public proprty, what it actually means is it is 100% state owned. So yes, by that same argument the state police force has complete rights to kick them off their land.
@decrepiddragon1 Agree with you, however its actually owned by the city, not the state, who gave the protesters many chances to move before they then gave the police permission to move people them.
You think education is going to solve the World's problems? You think thats it huh?Education is fine, money is nice to have, having your health is a blessing.
Its the root core problem of man since the beginning of time, its called sin dipshit, you've heard of that have'nt you?power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.Rich assholes say " who is God and why do i need him,we are god.It is easier for a Camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man enter the kingdom of heaven.KJV.
"i live in Australia, and i heard nothing about this.... bullshit 99%.. these people from what i see are "unemployed" and just provoking the law then pleading brutality. Grow up and get a life and stop throwing a collective tantrum at the people with a better work ethic earn more money than you. How do you reckon the rich got rich? @noirkitten "you are my hero" :P
@dkyloe all i see is a bunch of jobless hippie's in Marley hat's. maybe if the dressed and acted like a working part of society with some sort of direction the would be taken more seriously. to me it look's like Woodstock or some shit and im ashamed that they claim to be the voice of the 99% i,m spose to be a part of.
@dkyloe Ill finish with 1 question. WOULD YOU TAKE THIS PERSON SERIOUSLY>>>> /photo.php?fbid=129883857116801&set=pu.120325891405931&type=1&theater <<FACEBOOK LINK......
I do see your point, but I strive not to go there. And she's definitely expecting.
However, what if we were to briefly put matters into a different perspective.
If it were, that these people are intellectually disabled, or intellectually segregated, because of one common denominator; being the countries financial and economic paradoxes.
So,If all society were equal, could we advance the human race in an equal or greater forms & continue to explore the answers of the universe?
Typical police brutality, fuckin assholes.Thats whats wrong! The middleclass people of all nations need to unite and bring it to the rich bastards that want two classes of people, the rich assholes, the poor, and the working class poor!
@illbeda As a middle class Australian, I won't be 'bringing it to the rich bastards'. We were part of the 'working class poor' and worked our butts off to be quite comfortable - not rich, comfortable! It was also the 'rich bastards' who paid our wages and helped set us up financially. So please, don't bother to send me an invitation to 'unite' - I would much rather go to my place of employment in the morning and earn an honest living.
@skiteau Will you still be comfortable when financial meltdowns overseas cause half your superannuation to disappear – due to a lack of government regulation overseas? It's foolish to think we're completely isolated from these issues in Australia, they may not be as overt here, but they still exist and can (potentially) have devastating impacts.
@peha2 I don't think I mentioned that we were isolated by the impact of overseas markets and finance, thus I don't think the implication of me being foolish is necessary. Let's pretend for a moment that these protests are successful - what will be the outcome? More handouts? Will these protesters be attending their jobs tomorrow and being productive members of society? Have they asked if the majority of Australians want them protesting on their behalf?
The reality is many of these protesters wanted a physical confrontation with the police. Why you may say?.. The fact is for the whole week they had been there the public paid virtually no attention to them. Am I against them protesting?..
No,not at all..I just think their tactics in regards to demonstrations are old hat and simply are ineffective. They could have easily moved to another part of the CBD and continued protesting.
@Rhys569 get off your arse and get a real job you lazy piece of shit. If we had a world with bums like you in charge, we'd be back in 1500's slaughtering what we think are witches. I'm happy for the fat man, who actually does more work than 100 of you lazy hypocrites will ever do in your lives combined, to be in charge to promote growth and prosperity. I'd suggest you try and get yourself a good spot in the Centrelink queue before the rest of your worthless friends bleed our taxes dry.
I'm glad the cops removed these unemployed bums from this public place, which I found out through the internet (created and sold by corporations). I was then able to enjoy a few quiet beverages (brewed by corporations) after I finished work for the day with my own corporation.
Now I see you all crying poor on Youtube (owned by corporations) with videos which you took on smart phones (created by corporations).
Go and start a communist nation elsewhere, you pigs.
@theloriente says the fat man who does nothing and thinks that since he has a job that pays well, the world is good. Fuck you, humans like you that make the world shit.
By Police doing this it will make the crowds stronger, after all the protest is for everyone's benefit, are the police happy with the BS they are asked to do and for the wage they work for ? Police should join the protest. Great timing just as the queen is coming to congratulate gillard in NWO implementation.
@lehong1963 The police are just doing their job. It's not 'them verses us', they are 'us'! Your gripe is with the '1%', remember?
Exactly what will a stronger crowd achieve? What are your goals in this action, and how will you know you achieved them?
It all seems like a big waste of time and money.
In a free democracy, isn't it better to use your real power by voting wisely, getting involved in the decision making, exposing the corporations involved in the 'greed', and then boycotting them?
@inaicrnd Paint taken, but where is the democracy ? where is the getting involved in the decision making ? the governments do as they please and no one has a say, Gillard was elected because she said she would not bring in Carbon tax and then she does, so where is the democracy ? seems there is no other way of being heard, world governments have an evil and greedy agenda and no one is getting in their way.
@lehong1963 We are the democracy, the government are our representatives.
If the protesters are voicing our consensus, then they are in the majority. If they are in the majority, then they have the power. If the people in power don't represent the majority, then vote them out. If no political party is representative, organize one. In a democracy if you have enough votes you WILL get in.
Once in power, you have the consensus, so make the changes. That's what a democracy is all about.
@l337dan one step mate in the wrong place, as in china stop importing our raw minerals and you will see how very real the situation is. it is a very real threat, the slow down of USA, will bring a slow down in china, chain effect and why? because our system is set up wrong. set up to give money to the rich and leave a little for the rest. we could have a better set up of our system, but the millionaires and billionaires cant have it. plus it would drive up inflation. we need to think of someth

There may be councils of elders and leaders, this is natural, but life is based on mutual agreement and mutual aid.
astralwalk 3 months ago
@astralwalk Also, for research about the philosophy of True Anarchy and Mutual Aid, I would recommend the research of Elisabeth Sahtouris, the work of Peter Kropotkin and Willis Harman, also the work of John Lash in his book 'Not In His Image'. There exists far more evidence for symbiosis and cooperation in nature rather than Darwin's kill or be killed junk.
astralwalk 3 months ago
Get a room you two. no one wants to read this shit. Find another crazy forum to annoy.
bazwaa007 3 months ago
@Shaunhification True Anarchy already is happening, it already does exist and people live by it already, mainly in small sovereign communities. It's simply a tribalism and communality based on mutual aid. Not everyone needs to join this way of living, I'm not out to recruit people, I simply live my way and they can live theirs. We are told over and over that we don't know how to get along, I think that's utter bullshit.
astralwalk 3 months ago
@astralwalk Correction, They can live theirs, as long as it doesn't threaten the natural balance of life which it currently does, thus we take action.
astralwalk 3 months ago
@Shaunhification But George Bush is a Christian, The extremists say they are the true believers acting out the divine plan. They were true Christians who commited mass genocide on the pagans of Europe, Or the genocide of the tribes of the Amazon when the Spanish arrived, to spread the religion of love, The true Christians who began the Pharmacratic Inquisition which still continues to this day. The mass pedophile ring in the Churches? All these things are done by "true Christians".
astralwalk 3 months ago
@Shaunhification I don't have to try and demonize Christianity, a simple look in the history books reveals the horrors it is responsible for. It is a psychotic belief system of the highest degree. I reccommend a book called 'Not In His Image' by John Lash. I would love if we just had some sane people running the show who were aware of the sacredness of the Earth. To be honest, I don't have ideals of democracy, I prefer True Anarchy and mutual aid.

@bazwaa007 but why you think we are "way off the mark"? of course we have it better here, but there are other countries like sweden and norway have it even more better and alot support the movement. ive been to third world countries and it sickens me that children go hungry because they dont have money. the movement is about equality. we want to change the system, so that every man woman and child having the basic human right to food water shelter education electricity.
ruthless2001 4 months ago

Woolfrey 4 months ago
@Woolfrey you are so conditioned by the mainstream media. so blinded from the truth. you obviously have not did your homework or even talk to your neighbours. let me give you a tip. The media is there to 'sell' you a story, not 'enlightened' you. Have you looked at whats being shoved in our mailboxes????..27 different retail catalogues. 50%, 60%, 70% off sale, everyweek???? geez that $900 went a long way didn't it!
ruthless2001 4 months ago
@ruthless2001
I don't watch TV or read the newspaper, so no, I haven't been conditioned by the mainstream media at all.
What the hell are you even talking about retail catalogues for? Is anyone who disagrees with you just a victim of this "media brainwashing"?
The whole fucking point of the $900 was to SPEND it so that is boosts our economy. Try arguing facts rather than making ad-hominem attacks.
Woolfrey 4 months ago
@Woolfrey 'Boost' is a spin word to sell to the public. $900 was to soften the blow of our economy and encourage people to be in more debt so the banks can profit more from the interest. The increasing number of catalogues is because it's a desparate attempted 'boost' sales. I have never seen 50%, 60%, 70% sales every week in my lifetime till now. Mortgage rates, electricity, gas, food, telephone, insurance, petrol..etc costs are threw the roof.
ruthless2001 4 months ago
@ruthless2001

-Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause (terrorists in modern times)

So make the right choices!
inaicrnd 4 months ago
@inaicrnd 1.We don't have true democracy because politics is controlled by a cartel of international bankers and military industrial corporations. Your simply voting for which puppet you prefer.
2.The financial system is not operating on true capitalist principles, it is far more accurately defined as corporatism, mercantilism, or fascism.
3.The judicial system is largely set up to protect the leaders of both points 1 and 2 and to enforce authoritarian laws such as the fraudulent war on drugs.
astralwalk 4 months ago
@astralwalk
1. Become a puppeteer or enter politics. If you are representative of the people, you will get enough votes to gain power and make the changes needed.
2. All companies survive on profit. We are their only source of income and labor. That is why so many billions are spent on advertising recruiting and market research.
3. On this point I agree with you, since WE are the leaders of both points 1 and 2, though the drug debate is superfluous to the argument.
inaicrnd 4 months ago
@inaicrnd 1. No I wouldn't be able to change things because as I said politicians do not control things, an international banking and war cartel does. I have no desire to become a psychopathic control freak.
2. I don't see your point, I will simply restate that the economy is not run on true capitalist principles.
3. No, we are not the leaders of the governments or the economy, bankers and warlords are. Hence my original point that the judicial system is controlled by these people.
astralwalk 4 months ago
@astralwalk You "wouldn't be able to change things" because "politics is controlled by a cartel of international bankers and military industrial corporations"? How did we arrive at such different world views.

Watch “How To Rob A Bank” at UmotionS.com
Real footage of real banks causing real problems.
See my channel for the trailer and the link is in it’s description.

@noirkitten perfect example of how some are lethally mind locked into this system! 4 barrels to 1, bank bailouts for their gambling habits, wars predicated on lies, poverty & unemployment racing higher/houses & savings gone/mental disorders from bio-social pressures, on and on and on...
Equal distribution of resources to all humans without a price tag is where we're heading and implementing a Resourced Based Economy Model for sustainability is what's important for all of us!
shtboxexpose 4 months ago
@noirkitten No you are right, there "are" regulations on here, my mistake. But i think generally speaking it's rather open and gives you a broad range of topics to explore whereas TV just gives you something something scheduled. I won't go into this any further though, i don't argue with women (although my ex didn't mind doing that with me.. lol). Take Care Kitten :)
blade004 4 months ago
@noirkitten Fair enough, i completely understand, especially if you are a girl but please be careful on here, i am very protective guy when it comes to women and children and i would hate for some idiot to screw up somehow. No, don't open your account for any length of time, just keep it closed, although i do appreciate the offer ;). With the Kitten handle, oh i don't know, there are "some" guys out there that would embrace that handle... lol (not me though).
blade004 4 months ago
@noirkitten But you may say what you wish and i do apologize for labeling something you are clearly not which is person with an actual account on here. Have a good day.
blade004 4 months ago
@noirkitten The hippie mentality i do find rather pathetic though, if they expect to be taken seriously they need to lose the tree hugging look, clean up their appearance and form a clear argument within their protest.
blade004 4 months ago
@noirkitten Yes of course YouTube is run by businesses but then there is also the freedom to post on here while it's still possible without regulations. The Internet is a our greatest resource so as such we should use it! I am no nut, nor conspiracy theorist..etc.. when it comes to such things but historically and evidently we can see what happens when ordinary people don't have a voice and it's best to be premature than too late.
blade004 4 months ago

I HATE HIPPIES.

Really??are they helping people who earn their living day by day?? All I see is disruption of shops and workers who need to use the road. And thanks to them there were no trams for the whole day
LACOS10 4 months ago
@LACOS10 Hey LACOS, disrupting the day of people who are in the area is a small sacrifice for the sake of humanities social inequalities etc.. to rise above an outdated paradigm, waking up the hopelessly enslaved from their fable they are all 'occupying' is a true testament to the spirit that wants to be free from these horrible mindsets that have plagued us too long, that has elevated small groups and leaving the majority to fight for our birth rights to all resources on this planet. live free
shtboxexpose 4 months ago
I have looked, and I don't see the police brutality. All I see is police asking people to move, then carrying them away when they don't. And for all those people saying this is public proprty, what it actually means is it is 100% state owned. So yes, by that same argument the state police force has complete rights to kick them off their land.
decrepiddragon1 4 months ago
@decrepiddragon1 Agree with you, however its actually owned by the city, not the state, who gave the protesters many chances to move before they then gave the police permission to move people them.

Commendable effort by both sides. No serious injuries or deaths.
Through vids, "people" kept their hats & sunnies.
Maybe lacking some strategy. The coordination seemed a little predictable.
You all stand as individuals, therefore all must be notified by name.
If not, then the entire public must be notified of events before hand.
Soon, everyone will need to produce I.D. so maybe should not carry if you represent yourself. <-- very large trial process! Not Guilty!
Common goals, be unpredictable!

@noirkitten "you are my hero" :P
iamdrewi 4 months ago
this is australia's 5.2%............(unemployed that is) fkn hippie's get a job
UNLEASHdaBEAST1 4 months ago
@UNLEASHdaBEAST1
It's all about economics and the casting of the lower class.
The 5.2% is not an effect, it's an economic target.
So, to have success in a cast society, its effects too must be minimised.
In a nutshell, 5.2% is quite easily manageable.
But, when many people demand more transparent human rights, the economics may rapidly weaken.
The government then may need to 'acquisition' administrative control over its industries.
dkyloe 4 months ago
@dkyloe all i see is a bunch of jobless hippie's in Marley hat's. maybe if the dressed and acted like a working part of society with some sort of direction the would be taken more seriously. to me it look's like Woodstock or some shit and im ashamed that they claim to be the voice of the 99% i,m spose to be a part of.

The middleclass people of all nations need to unite and bring it to the rich bastards that want two classes of people, the rich assholes, the poor, and the working class poor!
illbeda 4 months ago
@illbeda You just listed three classes of people... Maybe the 99% need an education? Oh wait you would call that brainwashing.
pulleyking 4 months ago
@illbeda As a middle class Australian, I won't be 'bringing it to the rich bastards'. We were part of the 'working class poor' and worked our butts off to be quite comfortable - not rich, comfortable! It was also the 'rich bastards' who paid our wages and helped set us up financially. So please, don't bother to send me an invitation to 'unite' - I would much rather go to my place of employment in the morning and earn an honest living.
skiteau 4 months ago
@skiteau Will you still be comfortable when financial meltdowns overseas cause half your superannuation to disappear – due to a lack of government regulation overseas? It's foolish to think we're completely isolated from these issues in Australia, they may not be as overt here, but they still exist and can (potentially) have devastating impacts.
peha2 4 months ago
@peha2 I don't think I mentioned that we were isolated by the impact of overseas markets and finance, thus I don't think the implication of me being foolish is necessary. Let's pretend for a moment that these protests are successful - what will be the outcome? More handouts? Will these protesters be attending their jobs tomorrow and being productive members of society? Have they asked if the majority of Australians want them protesting on their behalf?
skiteau 4 months ago

I'd suggest you try and get yourself a good spot in the Centrelink queue before the rest of your worthless friends bleed our taxes dry.
theloriente 4 months ago
I'm glad the cops removed these unemployed bums from this public place, which I found out through the internet (created and sold by corporations). I was then able to enjoy a few quiet beverages (brewed by corporations) after I finished work for the day with my own corporation.
Now I see you all crying poor on Youtube (owned by corporations) with videos which you took on smart phones (created by corporations).
Go and start a communist nation elsewhere, you pigs.

By Police doing this it will make the crowds stronger, after all the protest is for everyone's benefit, are the police happy with the BS they are asked to do and for the wage they work for ? Police should join the protest. Great timing just as the queen is coming to congratulate gillard in NWO implementation.
lehong1963 4 months ago
@lehong1963 The police are just doing their job. It's not 'them verses us', they are 'us'! Your gripe is with the '1%', remember?
Exactly what will a stronger crowd achieve? What are your goals in this action, and how will you know you achieved them?
It all seems like a big waste of time and money.
In a free democracy, isn't it better to use your real power by voting wisely, getting involved in the decision making, exposing the corporations involved in the 'greed', and then boycotting them?
inaicrnd 4 months ago
@inaicrnd Paint taken, but where is the democracy ? where is the getting involved in the decision making ? the governments do as they please and no one has a say, Gillard was elected because she said she would not bring in Carbon tax and then she does, so where is the democracy ? seems there is no other way of being heard, world governments have an evil and greedy agenda and no one is getting in their way.
lehong1963 4 months ago
