Still great little player, hope he makes something of himself but don't disrespect the people he got his style from, right now it;s just that, other peoples styles. The word "revolutionary" here doesn't necessary mean 'Sungha's strumming is revolutionary and no one but Sungha has done it in the entire human history.' Bear in mind that Kotaro was examining Sungha's AlaskaPiks when he made the comment. He seemed pleasantly surprised by the sound Sungha had made with them, So "revolutionary" could simply mean 'I've never seen anyone playing so well with them before.'

@Kim930722 Not the same. China leased Hong Kong to England. It was returned after 99 years, as per the terms of the lease. Korea and Japan had no such deal. I agree with Korea's claim to Dokdo. It is valid according to the historical record. I also think that as part of its reparations, Japan should have been forced to release any claims it had over Takeshima. But they were not. Legally, it appears those snakes do have some kind of claim.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is a video of Kotaro, for the first time, watching Sungha play. The laughter toward the first part of the video is a reaction of others in the room to Kotaro's obvious astonishment. Then,we see Kotaro watching Sungha intently as Sungha plays. We see ever-so-slight nods of approval. Afterward, Kotaro examines Sungha's AlaskaPiks.

In other words, Sungha just aced an audition.

A brush stroke is a strum using the backs of the fingers (the nail side). When you're wearing finger picks - as Sungha is - the tips of the picks will snag the strings if you do a brush stroke. The disadvantage to wearing finger picks is that you can't do brush - or any - back of the hand strums. Except Sungha apparently can. :-)
