Serbia was created as a state because of the favor made by the Byzantine Emperor, who granted Balkan lands to Slavic tribes. Basically the emperor allowed Slavic tribes (that were roaming up from northern Europe down to the Carpathian mountains like Gypsies) to settle in the Balkans. Kosovo or "black bird" is what Serbs named the stolen land of Dardania in the 7th century. Kosovo was administered by the Ottoman empire for 5 centuries.

1912 is the year that marked independence from Turkey, but Unlike Serbs, Albanians have lived in their own land for thousands of years. Your history is too short to compare it with ours. Your history starts in the 7th century, whereas the Albanian history has roots since the era of Pelasgs and later Illyria. There were also many Serbian boys (from all the countries invaded) that were taken in Turkey and became janitzars. "beg" is a turkish title. "Skender" in turkish refers to Alexander the Great. But Skanderbeg returned to his homeland, and fought the Turks. Pasha was a turkish title but he also fought the Turks.

Your propaganda has brainwashed your people with some pathetic theories. The fact is that Albania has ancient roots in history, and Albanians are direct descendants of Illyrians. Albania existed as a state before the Roman invasion. Also, Scanderbeg united the Albanians and created the state from 1444 till 1480, until it was invaded by Ottomans.

The problem with Serbs is that they have been learning some false history that your government wants them to believe. Unfortunately there are many naive Serbs who are fed with these brainwashing theories and have become victims of Serbian propaganda.
Albanians are ethnic, and this is a fact that has been proven recently even by scientific DNA test. Read reliable resources if you want to learn about true historical facts. Read outside resources not Serbian books

The "historical" battle that you fought in Kosovo was lost. Serbia became a vassal country to Turkey, and your kings Lazarovic and Brancovic were kissing sultan's hands. There was another battle on Kosovo, not fought by Serbs but nobody stopped them. Vuk Branković is a traitor in folk poetry. The thing you became shows who the traitors were. You betrayed Skanderbeg and what he fought for. You have so "many" important people that on one list they had to put, nobody else, but Ali Pasha. Everyone had "great viziers" but you had the most.
