After watching so many of your videos SD, I take it you're from NC? I was born in Winston-Salem and am likely moving back there very shortly. I've been through the Charlotte airport many times. But, the last time I was through there, I didn't remember seeing any international flights in/out. Might've not been paying much attention. Anyway, always enjoy the uploads.
@aviationwingnut Hi ! Charlotte has numerous international flights to be honest.
There are nonstops to: London, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, Munich (Lufthansa), and Rio de Janeiro. Next year we will have nonstops to Dublin and Madrid as well. There are several to Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean also but there are too many to name.
Nice international portfolio for Charlotte in my opinion : )
@SDMullis Hi!! Oh, no doubt, that's a feather in Charlotte's cap for sure. I probably did notice the international flights now that I think about it. But, everytime I've been through Charlotte, it was to connect on into Raleigh or Greensboro. Usually Raleigh because, for some reason, it is/was SO much more expensive to fly into Winston-Salem. The money I'd save flying into Raleigh paid for the rental to drive on home.
I went to Europe in 1988 right after high school graduation to visit Holland, Germany, Switzerland, France, and England. It was a great trip. I'd love to go back. I flew non-stop back to Atlanta from Gatwick.
@flyusair there is actually quite a good chance they will go bankrupt they lost 500 million pounds last quarter which is about $800 million or so, and their cabin crew keep striking, BA are in big trouble right now
@flyusair it depends with the daily A330 US Airways flight from Charlotte BA have to be certain that Charlotte is a big enough market for 2 daily flights, I would say there is not much chance of an imminent return because Charlotte is mostly point to hub, or business traffic and as US AIrways are not a partner, and the major banks have contracts with US Airways there would not be the demand for British Airways Service
i love your videos...unlike so many who only show the engines of the airplane you also show the cabin , boarding and all aspects of the flight which make it more interesting...keep these videos coming

I almost forgot BA even flew to Charlotte. This was a a nice and interesting blast from the past.
I have been down to Charlotte a couple of times lately since my aunt lives there. It's a nice city with an equally nice airport to boot.

with a ba 763 it might be possible to do both maybe a slight us downgage to 332 from 333 and a ba flight to lhr this time

Flights on the route were full, but after LH entered the market, they couldn't keep the flight..I believe BA will be back to CLT..

@flyusair I agree unless they go bankrupt which looks very possible at this point in time
