  • I'd say it was the high lifter outlaws on the cat that made all the diff!.. outlaws seem to not spin in the mud, they just bite!

  • where is this

  • @hitlerisajew1 North Central Saskatchewan

  • @432motoandbass This is a big, big province....and we stick to the trails. So technically speaking our footprint is very, very small as our trails make up a fraction of 1% of our public land

  • cat and gade dont matchupe too weell.

  • Sweet video! also i have a question Im 14 but looking to buy a can am when im 16 ialready got and outlander but how are the renegades? They seem amazing and every year i go up to the mountains to go mudding would a renegade be a good choice or should i stick with my 800 outlander?

  • @offroad804 They are the same motor, trans and frame, so they are very similar, the Renegade has better shocks and is a little lighter not having racks, so It's better for fast trail riding, the Outlander has about 1" more clearence, It's really just personal preference, if they're set up the same it will come down to the rider on which performs better in a modhole. Both Excellent machines. The Outty also has racks to haul along a bit of stuff if your going on long trail rides

  • @offroad804 for fast trail riding, the renegade!.. for mudding and fast trail, the outlander!.. for mudding only, outlander 800 mxr!

  • That dude on the renegade was like you just rammed my 12,000$ mud toy with a 5,000$ pos

  • @BiggysPs3trophys haha, thats why i dont like gades, theres nowhere to push or pull with another forewheeler or your hands. go outtys.

  • arctic cat will always push can am in the ass go go go arctic cat

  • At 1:03 he's looking at his 4-wheeler like "Wtf, did he put a dent in it?" I'd be pissed.

  • @Coonpiss I was thinking of a lot worse things then that!!!!!!!

  • is the long chasis better in shit like this?

  • @elaposto they are more stable when climbing out of a hole for sure, as far as mudding I think the extra weight hurts them

  • @ostacruiser now I just have to figure out either commander or outlander. so torn.

  • when i tried that with my arctic cat the engine filled with water and stopped working lol

  • @ExTrEmIzE00

and thats why before taking an expensive toy in the mud you should fucking educate yourself..

  • pretty sure i know the answer, but what would you think is the best can-am for MUD+trails, and size plz....

  • @kevinakashorty 2012 Renegade 1000Xxc or 1000XT Outlander no question....best two macines on the market hands down

  • @ostacruiser thanks! i was guessing the Outlander, but if ya dont mind, why would you say 1000XT? and not a little smaller? or would that be more of a preference? im thinkin the Renegade as a light weight weeknest over the Outlander but im not a expert rider...

  • nice beer holder by the snorkel! lol

  • Artic cat made it look easy

  • CowsXonXcrack to what you said about the transmission being bullet proof. if its made my humans. it will mess up, anything mechanical can and WILL fuck up. just a matter of time when it chooses to mess up

  • the 1000 blows out axles like the're free and replaced at no charge...Yea right. The thing is a TANK

  • Has the guy with the Arctic Cat had any clutch issues? I have a 2007 650 H1, we got it in late 06. One day I was just cruising up a logging road and my clutch called it quits on me. Stopped my atv dead in it's tracks and it wouldn't even move, so I had to role it all the way down in neutral, then pay an 800 dollar bill to have the belt, housing bearing and part of the primary clutch replace. Makes a few noises now that it's fixed too. I thought those transmissions were supposed to be bulletproof

  • @CowsXonXcrack not to sure, I know he has had a ton of issues with everything else on that 1000, even thinking of jumping ship because of it.

  • @ostacruiser Yeah same issue here. I tore a CV boot 2 years ago on mine and unknowingly took it to a sandbar and went mudding with a few friends, so that completely fucked joint. I've replaced 8 12 dollar headlamps now because there's no under protection for the headlamp wiring, sticks fly and and rip it out. 1500 pound Warn winch won't pull and old 500 pound Kawasaki 400 (which never had and still doesn't have any issues) out of the mud either so there must be something wrong with the wiring.

  • @ostacruiser What year is that 1000? and what issues did he have? Because im thinking of buying a 2011 700 or 1000.

  • @CowsXonXcrack

Buy a honda. It will last forever and doesn't use a belt.

  • @Lolwut67 Yeah standards will probably last 10 times longer than a belt clutch.

  • @CowsXonXcrack

Nope, the honda utilities are automatic, BUT, again, direct shaft, no belts in between.

  • @Lolwut67 My friend has a 2007 Honda 420 utility, and it's standard.

  • @CowsXonXcrack

If by standard you mean button-shift or foot shift only, without a clutch, you must be dumb.

    Standard - Manual

Button or shift lever - Semi-Manual

Nothing to shift with - Automatic

  • @Lolwut67 Semi-Manual then. If it's half manual, then it still fits the standard category, does it not?

  • @cowsxonxcrack

No, it does not, as a standard has a manual clutch.

  • @Lolwut67 Twin clutch/Tiptronic?

  • Is that cat running the 3.1 or 4.0 diffs. Doesn't seem to have any problems turning those 31's.

  • @a33bigpapa Pretty sure he swapped in the 3.6's, loves them, a good compromise between the 3.1's and the 4.0's

  • Sorry to say man but Artic Cats are considered one of the worst quads for that kind of job because of their ground clearance. you make it work though.

  • @PURP1EPYTHON What do you mean? Arctic Cats have 11 inches of ground clearance, Mud Pros have 13 or 14 inches. Is that a bad thing?

  • I think the higher GC and longer wheelbase made the thundercat look amazing compared to the renegade in that particular hole.

  • Alomost lost her at 1:17

  • almost lost the artic cat

  • any damage to the rene after that push?

  • @blissman20 lol, his exhaust was a bit tweaked....he's still bitter about it and he sold the bike a year ago...lol

  • @ostacruiser yeah i thought i saw something about it on saskatv hahahaha sucks but funny

  • @ostacruiser what did he get after selling the renegade?

  • @hondarubiconowner lol, Still nothing, hopefully he'll pull the trigger on a 1000 Gade this fall

  • @ostacruiser Hold your horses I'll be back before you know it!!! lol

  • ur atv videos are the best on youtube hands down.. big ups to the west coast go canada

  • nice video boys, lol the guy driving the renagade didnt really want a push but i geuss he got it! lol

  • Love the video and the push from AC lol. Both great machines I have the 09 MP and so far no shaft breaking. Hope it stays that way. I am curious if any of the MP's have had any actuator issues. Mine gets water in it and gets stuck in 4WD with the diff lock on, a bitch to steer. For now I got it disconnected until I can come up with $300. Kinda pissed about it but I'm surprised where it will go in 2WD before the winch gets used lol

  • @benp707 2 cats so far have had that exact problem, seems like they need to seal them alot better

  • @benp707 I had an 06 cat and the actuater would jump in and out of 4x4 all the time. Seems like an on going problem.

  • badass renegade the guy driving it sucks tho

  • @lukec0423 I'll look forward to your extreme atv mudding video showcasing your skillz....please no n-bombs though :)

  • oh yah and was just reading up on the new xmr from bombardier with Gorilla axles and such....all a lie.The only thing Gorilla is the stickers and tires. Everyone is snapping axles 20km down the road. The dealers are telling them to keep it hush hush...lol. Nice looking bike though they are headed in the right direction for sure:)

P.S. You ever snap an axle on you bike?

  • @MRMUDandSNOW I have never snapped an axle and been rack deep a bunch of times, it's all about knowing when to give and pull out the winch. Sure seems to be alot of negatives stories on the XM-R, glad I don't own one.

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!! I HAVE TO PAINT MY 700 MUD PRO'S FRONT BUMPER BECAUSE I PUSH SO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF HOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARCTIC CAT OR GET OUTTA THE WAY:) JUST CLASSIC:)

  • @MRMUDandSNOW We have pulled more dead Cats out of the bush then all the other makes combined....lol, the always seem to break axles or diffs, this trip the 700 MP blew the left front axle, the 1000MP brought extras and they changed it out on the trail. Nice machines with great ground clearence but unreliable in the bush

  • @ostacruiser Well that sucks for everyone else.I heard arctic cat got bad batch of axles.... Never had a broken axle yet!!! Bud was prob in diff with the wheel cranked full bore? Two years of hard Muskoka riding. The mud we have is thick as shit to. If you don't wash it off it stains for good! Flipped it in the lake though:) Just was out on a poker run with 170 bikes, only bikes that broke down where POLARIS AND YAMAHA. lol. I have to rack my rad now because warrenty is out:) Have fun!!!!

  • Nice quads

  • Most impressive !

  • it just got this mud pro and i fliped it and runed it the weak after

  • gotta love the dif lock!

  • @Remie721 The 2010 and up QE Visco Locks are much improved over all other years. Locks up in half a wheel rotation instead of 4-10 wheel rotations

  • i love the first one it looks like an angry decepticone

  • does that 1000cc mud pro hold up couse ive never heard of artic cats holdin up well

  • is it 32s on the mud pro and im gessin there outlaws

  • @sargentghost24 Outlaws don't come is 32"s, biggest are 31"s. They're 32" Silverbacks

  • @nikeproglove AHAH about $10,000 worth. Say a new AC MudPro or Renny?!

  • @nikeproglove LOL, no idea, sorry bud, never owned a Honda, only ever ridden with two in 4 years.

  • @nikeproglove He was running 30" Silverbacks, all wides.....you'd have to be doing some serious motor and clutch mods to sling those properly

  • good ol' diff lock?

  • The renegade sounds like a frickin tractor

  • Dude the can am shounds like a frickin tractor

  • I am an arctic cat man all the way but i have to say that arctic cat & canam have the mud industry sowed up. Really cant go wrong owning either one. Sweet vid.

  • nice video!

  • cool love the videos i will post some of mine soon

  • where you guys riding at

  • @donmanleycat North Central Saskatchewan

  • Love the arctic cat pushing out the can am! Those renegades are awsome but i own a cat and have for years. I would be happy to own either one of these machines. Looks like some of my kind of riding!! Great video!

  • Wow how can the 750 mudpro even keep up with that renegade? altough my 2010 750i twin brute could. As far as mud goes. haha

  • @CanadianRandom thats a 1000 mud pro

  • Awsome vid! Just wondering if you know if those are 31inch outlaws on the 1000? Other wise it sounds and looks like everything else is stock. I have a 1000 mudpro but still with stock zillas and looking to upgrade.400 miles on mine though only since didnt get chance to ride much before winter. Thanks for any info man

  • @MrGmoneyCat Yes he was running 31"s

  • i LOVE this video because it showcases two of THE BEST mudding machines around!! renegade benefits from its torque and speed, yet the mudpro has its strength benefits. all in all i believe mudpros and renegades/outlander will remain the best muddin machines on the market

  • yes it is a twin

  • i LOVE the way the renegade sounds! =)

  • do u think those artic cats are peases of shit?

  • @raptorboyz960 hell no! but those canned hams are!

  • just wondering how is that mud pro between mudholes? are they decent on the trails as far as the huge fucking tires and gearing?

  • @tastesfunny85 They are definately not as sporty feeling or as fun between the holes as an outlander or a renegade

  • Go Cat Go. Arctic cat has come so far in the ATV world. They build a good dependable atv.

  • heres the problem with the renes there to light the just dont sink both great bikes you cant go wrong with the silverbacks but personoly im a kawasaki fan

  • dont mess with a cat

  • is that cat a twin? just curious

  • @Joshenergy9 Yup

  • @austinman1995 cool and ur point is?

  • wow, the mudpro went like, throug nothing, woow

  • holy sh*t look at that arcticat rip throw that mud

  • @revsalltheway

This was from June 5th. He's quadless right now!!!!

  • Beer holder

  • nope that renegade did not want to be pushed lol

  • @blackie205 It doesn't stink at all. It's basically peat moss. Like a peat bog

  • @ostacruiser what i know it doesnt stink at all i was there lol

  • I dont think the gut on the can am wanted to get pushed

  • labbat blue in the front of the cat good choice
