  • I've always thought the 1st boss that behind the barrels he doesn't have any pants.

  • it's like Metal Slug with cowboys!

  • @RookFrjosa actually... with the aiming on diagonals... it looks more like contra and it was maded by konami!

  • @roman6a oh. Well that makes more sense actually...

    Cool!

  • this game is so much better then red dead redemption ;)

    Draw Pilgrim!

  • YEEEEEPEEEE !!!

  • I say, bit of bad luck!

  • @FlameAdder Berry me with mah munhey!

  • could you look at a video for me and tell me what the last song in it is?

  • Pink hat, yellow pants, and completely sexually secure XD

  • Ya got me pilgrim.

  • Y LOVE YOU BRASIL INFANCY

  • I loved this game and the voices of the characters specially Cormano's voice :D

    "Are you all right ma'am"

    "All right ma'am"

  • This is one them games that is a MUST have for any fan of Contra. Its so freakin' awesome. I'm still so amazed at that unbelievable SNES soundchip. At times made CD music sound bad. Sunset Riders is a classic and worth every penny. But beware, like all Contra's, this game can get pretty dang hard!

  • Yeah, the SNES version is pretty faithful, though it was censored in a few places. The music is actually better than the arcade for the most part.

The Genesis version is so gimped it's almost a completely different game.

  • Cormano rocks a plenty!

  • i remember beating the arcade version with my best friend, than i beat the SNES with my dad. Bob and Cormano FTW!!!!

  • CORMANO!!! What a man !

  • this classic game is still tougher than nails ^_^

  • dang the intro is way ahead of its time!

  • great game , is the best game of the arcades times

  • I use to play alot this game with my brother :) I Love this game, when I Remember I cry xD Really, the music its just perfect, I Love this kind of music

  • Someone knows more music like this??? i mean bands or something I Really like this :D

  • the best shit is at 2:56...epic stuff

  • The first level music kicks ass!

  • you can say that again, and again, and like one million times again =D

  • can't they make more of these type of games that are incredibly awesome

  • i really loved this game , its one of my favorites

  • hehe XD i always played this game with my brother some pizza place... but we never finished it!

  • I lost my entire paycheck beating this game at the arcades.

  • At least you beat it man.

  • Greatest story ever.

  • @TheGuv123 No fucking wonder. The indian boss and onwards were fucking impossible.

  • man! i rented this game when it came out for super nes and i never remembered the name! this is fantastic! i finally know what to go and look for!

  • Every music that Konami had performed should have a soundtrack here in America. Their orchestra hit piece in most arcade games kick butt!!!!

  • for what console is this game snes or genesis?.

  • dul question its on both and arcade.

  • SNES version is much better though.

  • I could have sworn that the SNES version is missing quite a bit from the arcade version.

  • 4 player mode is missing, I think.

  • The SNES version is missing some things, but all in all it's a pretty solid conversion.. the Genesis version on the other hand lacks even 2 players, has inferior graphics and sound and is missing stages.

  • I have the pcb, so it's a blast to play every now and then. I remember playing the SNES version, and it just didn't cut it for me. I eventually bought one of those home JAMMA systems and picked up the pcb on eBay years ago.

  • The genesis version has two players. Cormano and Billy. And there *is* a co-op mode.

  • No there isn't.

  • It's right in front of me. I just played through it to see if you were right...you aren't. You can play 2 players: one as Billy and one as Cormano.

  • Wait, you're right.. nevermind. I read in Gamepro that the game was only 1 player and took their word for it, but after playing the game a bit yeah.. it is 2 player co-op. At least it has that.

  • It is missing a few things, but by and large it's a faithful conversion. The music on the SNES actually sounds better imo.

  • Yeah this music rocks.

  • The first level & boss music remind me of TMNT the Hyperstone Heist, mostly because of the orchastra hit effect you hear. I always found it funny how uncreative the characters' names were: Steve, Billy, Bob, & then Cormano being the only original name there. Should of have cliche nicknames like the bosses did.

  • Ah man i F in love this game its great music what a good choice

  • Ah, the glory days of Konami. The good ol' days.
