  • Was it true that it as a Hadrosaurs from which they have found a mummyfied version? If so, that wuold be the ultimate resource material for you to make this model even more realistic. Very nicely done.

  • Very nice, I love the music reminds me of Fallout 3, especially like how the footsteps are in sync with the bass.....

  • the hadrosaur can blink and canu test to see if it can at least stand on all fours?

cause that's what hadrosaurs do in life.

  • @htfamily can or can not blink? No sure about it...I imagine that creatures with eyes should blink, unless they have an eye transparent skin, we need more information about hadrosaurus...any link that you can point out? So we can all learn a bit more about this guys?

    Thanks for your comment !

  • @blenderguy2008 I know that hadrosaurs can really blink eyelids:)

  • @blenderguy2008 I am able to supply you with acurate information on Hadrosaurus and the rest of their family.

  • @TheLizardLover Well very much appreciated ! Very interested in get myself educated about these great animals ! Send me link or any information !

    Thanks TheLizardLover !

  • @blenderguy2008 Dinosaurs are related to birds so hadrosaurs do really blink I didn't ask that I just wanted to see if the duckbill can stand on all fours

  • @htfamily Sure she can, only when she wants to make love ! :)

  • @blenderguy2008 I'm anticipated to see a free or at least ten dollar parasaurolophus

  • @htfamily Hey !! Thanks for the suggestion ! A parasaurolophus is a very nice dino and very easy to model ! It is now in my to do list. I first need to finish the Animation of TREX-V5 Special Edition, then parasaurolophus will be the next in line !

  • Great job my friend! congrats! =)

  • I would definitly hire you to make models for my game project... Your creations are so beautiful!

  • very nice:) lol. feet are really small lol

  • nice... legs look a little human to me though - but if that's the way the references show, then we'll throw pots and pans at the original archaeologists/artists.

  • @loklomedia May be the music has brain washed your brain? Since it gives the impression of a cartoon girl with tiny feet and big head walking forward.....ha ha ha ! Well I did not get many details about legs....so I would keep the topic open...... :)

  • Great texture!

  • @AnsonAdams Thanks, bump maps and UV textured. UV Painted !

  • @blenderguy2008 UV painted?

  • @AnsonAdams ha ha well you are right ! That's why I don't make tutorials because I always come up with my own terminology. I meant to paint over the Unwrapped UV map in photoshop......so in my mind it sounds like UV painted? Sorry if I confused you..... :(

    Thanks for your comment !

  • @blenderguy2008 Oh lol yes I paint over UV maps and make up terms all the time too

  • @blenderguy2008 Oh and btw you have a great collection of models! I can only imagine how much work went into each of those. Do you make much money off selling them?

  • @AnsonAdams Yes it is a lot of work put on each of those, however as time goes by it becomes easier and faster. This Hadrosaurus took me from its first step ( a raw cube ) to its final walkcycle & rendering around four days...and a few cups of coffee too ! About the money, well it is not yet enough to buy the next Ferrari, but I can't complain about earnings either.

  • @AnsonAdams Hey ! btw I like your Velociraptor, good model and good textures.....what about the rigging? planning on doing so? You need to do it man....otherwise it would be a waste ! At least a walkcycle, it will be a hit !

  • @blenderguy2008 Thanks! Its actually completely rigged and ready for animation, however I've been so busy the past months I haven't used it (but its being used in a couple of other people's films!) A walkcycle would be fun to make sometime.

I would love to discuss modeling / texturing / animation techniques with you! You seem very knowledgable and we share the interest of creature design inside Blender. Btw glad to hear your creations are generating some revenue!

    Thanks,

    Anson

  • other than the feet I think this looks great!

  • @blotsafun I know about the tiny feet, however all drawing references, sketches and even real sculptures I found show that this guy had small feet. There aren't many references online about this guy though ! I would have loved to make him with huge heavy feet...but....well

    Thanks for your comment !

  • @blenderguy2008

congratulations, you are the first person to have a solid excuse for what I thought was a mistake.

then I apologize for the feet thing.

  • DAT ASS!

  • You have got to make a tutorial.

  • @realdealmagic101 I guess one day I would, however I have never try doing so :(

  • @blenderguy2008 You should try it! It would have to be a series of course, but just start from beginning to end of your own process, and record it all in realtime, and explain what you're doing in every step :)
