I think Astro has no meaning and in its own weird way that's its meaning. Jack White most likely made it up so people would make various assumptions of what it refers to. Its like if you spill some coffee on a post card you had on your kitchen table then you put it in an art gallery so people can talk about how artistic it is even though the artist is just like yeah, its all those things....and more
