  • PJ are obviously very familiar with The Sex Pistol's version of the old Dave Berry song Don't Give Me No Lip Child. The drumming on this PJ track, the feel, the guitar riff, is all very inspired by the Pistol's version.

  • Stone gives it such a trippy/country/indie touch, love it, awesome artist!

  • is are you gonna go my way at 1:27 ?

  • on many occasions this song has been stuck in my head and it drives me nuts

  • @TheCevy O_O 11 years? I've been a fan for about two.

  • @SlitMouthWoman

yup. half my life time :)

since I heard betterman, fuckin` up and black live on pinkpop...

From that expirience, Eddie, his vocals, his emotions while he sings... That`s something perfect...

He lives every one of his songs while he`s on stage.

Pearl Jam gave me 11 wounderful years :)

  • @TheCevy I have all of their CD's,just no live ones.

  • @SlitMouthWoman

  • ill never forgive them that this song is only b-side...

  • @drhans1 not they're choice

  • Stone has the best vocal performance evaaaaaaaa lololololo

  • Stone is good.

  • This was originally recorded by Dave Berry & The Outlaws, and WAS later covered by The Sex Pistols... both versions are better than this.

  • @RAYEDEN

Hey faggot, Dave Berry did make a song called "Don't Gimme No Lip", but Pearl Jam didn't make a cover, just happened to name there song that one. And Sex Pistols didn't cover it, and if they did, it would of sucked because they suck.

  • The above statement is incorrect and I humbly apologise to 1michelemichele1. I am indeed a faggot.

  • Actually it is STONE singing....

  • Is this Stone singing?

  • I definitely think this song was inspired by old Punk bands like the Clash, Ramones and Sex Pistols. The simplicity of the music and lyrics just seem so punk influenced. Even the song title wouldn't sound out of place on a Sex Pistols album.

  • @almightyjoey It is, actually.

  • great song
