PJ are obviously very familiar with The Sex Pistol's version of the old Dave Berry song Don't Give Me No Lip Child. The drumming on this PJ track, the feel, the guitar riff, is all very inspired by the Pistol's version.
Hey faggot, Dave Berry did make a song called "Don't Gimme No Lip", but Pearl Jam didn't make a cover, just happened to name there song that one. And Sex Pistols didn't cover it, and if they did, it would of sucked because they suck.
I definitely think this song was inspired by old Punk bands like the Clash, Ramones and Sex Pistols. The simplicity of the music and lyrics just seem so punk influenced. Even the song title wouldn't sound out of place on a Sex Pistols album.

This was originally recorded by Dave Berry & The Outlaws, and WAS later covered by The Sex Pistols... both versions are better than this.

No, it's Ed on lead.
Stone sings back-up a lot of times, but Stone's voice has a bigger twang to it, for some reason.
