it looks like a great grill, but it's still 20lbs. not something you'd want to be carrying around by yourself with all your other gear.

For raw meat I would probably use 12-15 briguettes to provide a higher cooking temperature for proper food safety. I would also add the lid to help cook more efficiently. Thanks for your comment.
