My master was pulled out when he was 6 years old by his grandmaster grandfather (in the wudang mountains) he is not in his 80's and is called the jewel of china and was featured on many tv shows including (ripleys believe it or not)
he talks about things like, "Theres a difference between known the name of something, and knowing something"
He stresses that unless one knows the human microcosm from micro to macro (chakra/nadis etc), one should not imitate such movements
@sn1pe352 these movements were made to open all the channels in the body and strengthen them, designed for ordinary people to be able to cultivate from low to high levels quickly and safely. it is complete safe to do these movements. your master teaches something else, and in some limited systems your statement would be true, but not in our school of thought, everything we teach is completely safe and needed. thank you! :D
@aminjani I would like to say, I in no way was trying to be egotistical and or cause any sort of destructive interference. I have a profound respect for you and any other teacher of the sacred sciences
I just feel that, there's a big difference between mastery and mimicry, you should maybe talk to them about harmony and proportion when practicing the movements, use examples like (A bird cannot fly unless both of its wings work together) or (you have tornados coming out of your body and etc etc
@aminjani So what I mean about (the difference between mastery and mimicry) is, in wudang temples the children are watched-observed their entire lives, and selected for specific reasons
It's not the movements that I was speaking about, it was the minds which concerned me
You are definitely doing great things for their cardiopulmonary systems and muscles etc, but muscle memory and dendrite formation (neural pathways re-routing) etc is a very dangerous game to play with in children, lets talk
