@rickman33 I know you can't stop lag, but it's what they're claiming they can do if you look at the SOCOM 2 HD poll.

I used most of their words to make the trailer look more believable.And yeah, I know we need SONY to give the green light, I didn't make this saying they already did, it's called "what if" or 'fantasy" trailer w/e you want to call it. All I know is that a game like this should already exist.That's the sad part.

I think there is a good chance of this happening. I've heard Greg talk about this re-release being in the works on Podcast Beyond, and it seems like it would be an easy way for Sony to make some extra money.

I assume you came upon this video by mistake or maybe on purpose. In either case, you have a strong community of gamers (30k+) that used to play Socom 2 every night on the PS2. I am quite certain if you listen to the community you will realize that there is a demand for Socom 2 in HD. Not only will you sell to original S2 players but also new gamers. Please listen to the most important people - your customers.

@JackTudor09 In retrospect, Confrontation wasn't that bad of a game. the problem with Confrontation was they had a PS2 budget and a limited time frame to develop the game. When it released it was buggy, laggy and overall game mechanics were just shit. They released a few patches but the game utilmately never was fixed. However, at the end, it was playable and had a classic socom feel. Socom 4 appears to be entirely different without a shred of staying loyal to it's roots planted in Socom 1 and 2

@Ray186 Yeah. Well the reason I did was because when PSN Plus was announced, Many people including me only subscribed to it simply because we were hoping to get a SOCOM 4 demo or beta. This was before we found out it was delayed. But hey, I just thought it`d be fun to put in because it would mean that it pays off. =) Thanks for the support.!

i voted a while ago. i miss socom II. no game has come close. i really hope socom 4 isn't a let down. i just dont understand why they dont make SocomII HD. it would be a gold mine

very true. we were addicted to socome II. socom 3 comes along and its awesome, for about a month. then we went right back to socom II. quick snipe really ruined that game. and all wars were small maps no boom, sooooo boring. only good thing about S3 was the map packs to play DG and Abandoned again, best S1 maps there was. i was gonna buy a PS3 for confrontation, but soo glad i didn't waste my money.
