@fehquig Well, you'd have a job to see it all. The Pitt Rivers houses more then 500.000 artifacts, some of which were brought back from James Cooke's original travels.
Interesting video, Eddy. I don't know the Inspector Morse series. So I really liked it that you included footage from the show to create the context. Looks like a great museum.
@Cathsdream You know, I was wondering about those guns too :) And indeed that seems like a painful way to get a tattoo but I guess it's also meant to be a test of how tough one is with enduring pain.
I love museums. Very interesting to see all sorts of history on display. And dinosaaaaurs! I still act like a five-year old when around dinosaur things. I find them very fascinating still.
And seeing things from a show you like must be an amazing feeling. I can imagine, watching as many shows as I do. :)
@Maccadole I love musuems too! I've been to every one I could find in Oxford (about 4 or 5). The dinosaurs were great. I got loads more footage of them but I wanted to keep the video short and to the point.
Seeing all the film locations was great. The minute I stepped into Oxford for the first time I was like 'oh look, I recognize this...and over there.. and...my god, this is one big movie set ^^' The best part is that I now know the geography. Where everything is in relation to eachother.
some great footage - I was surprised the let you film in the museum. Really cool how you used the Inspector Morse clips in here.

Fascinating artifacts... That is one huge collection of stuff. I would get tired of looking at things yet I would want to see them all ;)

@GNYBerlin Thanks Luci. Yes I thought it would create a nice contrast to show the actual footage from the series next to the real thing.
I hope you'll get a chance to watch the Morse series. I think it's the best english crime series ever made.

Do you think those guns still work?
I've seen someone get a tattoo with one of those tools, it wasn't pretty. That must hurt for weeks and weeks. Autch :)
