  • I had the honor to see Laurie Beechman perform in Cats at the Wintergarden Theatre in the mid 80's. Her performance sent chills down my spine, it was so eloquent. We were blessed to have her talent....if only for a little while. God Bless.

  • the first time i cried during a performance of this song. brava, laurie, forever brava

  • I am not a big broadway musical person...discovered her while searching...such feelings. depths, emotions...what a voice...very sorry to know that she passed away from ovarian cancer...a stark reminder for all women to have a physical...I think I put her first, then Betty Buckley then Elaine Paige...thank you for a lasting "memory".

  • Such a lovely performance of the song. Thank you Laurie, you are missed.

  • Less than 3 years later and she would be dead. It's not fair. Rest in peace Laurie, you deserve it.

  • Susan Boyle brought me here too. All "memory" song singers are as beautiful as their voices are. strange huh

  • so beautiful, she was a big talent...i wish i 've seen her live on stage. so sad..

  • susan boyle brought me here.

    L.A. CA

  • I saw her in as Grizabella in NY. I always enjoyed Betty Buckley's recording but wished I'd been able to have my Grizabella to listen to. I just stumbled on the news of her death today. Indeed a sad loss.

  • What a gorgeous voice she had! So sad...

  • She's my second favorite Grizabella. Next to Betty Buckley.

  • she's awesome

  • So beautiful...she died young...sad....
