The reason it works, I think, is because she is not trying to say she's better than Freddie, just that she likes the song and can sing the hell out of it. I think Freddie would like it. Covering Queen, Janis, G&R, boy, she picks the easy ones doesn't she. There’s just no substitute for talent, and she has loads of it. I personally didn't care for the guitar, but that's just a matter of personal taste.
