I use to go to his "BOOGIE TILL YOU PUKE" boogie all the time. last one was back in the mid 90's. I was the guy showing up in a semi, I also jumped out of the king air at couch freaks and when he would come up here to Wisconsin. I did a couple high altitudes . I would love to be last out because it was so cool to have him pass you by. Then I broke my femur and since I could dive I rode the back seat a couple times. been out of the sport for a while now. Terry D license 1600 jumps
20 years ago I was nursing a blown-out knee and couldn't skydive. Mike Mullins was at Norman, OK for the weekend. I was amazed that he could beat jumpers to the ground, so I was able to ride in the plane twice. Heck yeah! I was able to wave at other skydivers in freefall from the door as they seemed to flow *up* out of my sight. I remember it like it was yesterday. I think Mikes son, Charlie, had 600+ jumps at the time. Not too bad for a 12 year old, eh?
That is an expensive ride at any amusement park. it is hard to see in that video that you are actually pointing strait at the earth.. and passing skydivers in free-fall on the way down..and actually landing the plane before the last skydiver lands.... great Ride...
