The ball is filled with 10-20% helium, thus the slow float apparent. The joga ball also has a plastic coat, making it heavier and so a more realistic bounce. I know this as i have a ball that i use for skills sometimes which i have put a small amount of helium, try it and see for yourself, good for harsh russian winters when the ball is rock hard as it has a lighter touch :D
