Something to point out about the last datacron (+4 Cunning) you can skip the process of the forklift, wall and first stacks of boxes and cranes. on the LAST stack of boxes you can walk up to the corner and jump onto the joints on the side, if you do it right you'll land on the joint then just jump again onto the box (can do so with both boxes) skips having to wait for all the other cranes and just deal with the long wait of the very last 2 before the datacron itself

that's really shitty critique, so I'll explain. just say where to go in the northeast, the whole, "follow this exact path thing" threw me off big time, you cut right when the cursor lands in a intersection and had me searching that area for 20 minutes. You can jump on some round thingy in the middle of the boxes and then jump on the box, you don't need to ride the other box back in order to make the jump. Cheers :P

this boss is easy to solo just pup your healer companion and let him tage all the aoe dmg. then u can easy solo the droid down. if your companion cant heal tru the dmg get some better gear :p

When looking for the probe, check ON TOP of the Republic bunker. I found him wandering around up there among other places. Also, I solo'd this as a 50 Immortal Juggernaut. You'll probably have to do some companion management if you're solo'ing this because the droid loves to stack his AoE's on your companion. Make your companion passive, wait for him/her to move out of the AoE, uncheck the passive box.

Just something I discovered while following this one, you can short cut the last datacron by jumping on the last stationary box you jump from. There are 2 elbow hinges on either side of the box that if you angle just right you can stand on, then jump to the top of the box. Enjoy!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm not sure it used my Hydro thinner. Do you get to keep it after you melt the ice? I just right clicked where the ice was and didn't click the item. Not sure if it used it or not.

I found there is a much easier way to get the last datacron. Instead of using the forklift and riding the first crate, you can jump up the large rectangle crates using the corners of the boxes. They have little angled corners you can hop up, so you can completely skip the first crate ride.

Last datachron: You dont need to jump on the 1st container, just jump on the ledg behind the final big boxes (where instructor is speaking about the hard jump).

An easy way to solo this guy is just to continuously kite him and his aoe isn't a factor

can confirm the ancient probe can be at different locations. I found mine very close to the drift hills base, around (X,Y) -3704, 98

You can skip the whole first moving crate by going straight to the second jump. Go around the crate till you see where the snow is piled up next to a angle iron bracket thing on the side. Jump straight then tap forward and you can actually stand on the round part of the middle of the angle iron. Do this again on the next crate to get to the top to jump.

@2008redsi lol that worked. AFTER I went through the 1st crate steps a few times lol. Yeah the angle bracket has a small lip you can stand on and if you hit jump again right when you get on the lip it will like boost you right on top of the crate =)

I've noticed a "trick" on platforming, if you press JUMP and then immediately FORWARD you make a quick jump, no space between the ledge and the jump required at all.

Are there any other known spawn points for the Ancient Probe? I've been camping these coordinates for over an hour now and haven't seen him.

@SubMatrix7 Its likely someone killed him recently, or chased him off and broke off the fight, which forces a despawn. Respawn timer is pretty long.

@FAPDegren I spent 3 hours before giving up. I came back about every hour or so another 4 times throughout the day. Again this morning I have been here for 2 hours and have not seen him. I'm wondering if it's possible he's broken and won't be back until a server restart.

The Ancient droid will travel up and down the very edge of the map, I saw him very far north, way farther north than shown in this video. It seems he makes a looooooong oval path north and south along the edge. 30 min cooldown.

I was lucky on the Strength datacron. Well first I looked for the Ancient Probe to kill, but it wasn't around. figured someone else had killed it, so I continued on to the other datacrons. When I got to the Strength datacron, someone had already opened it so I was able to get it :) Lucky too, b/c literally 20 seconds after I did, it closed up.
