it is a very good case, i have had it, i still have it. i suggest it to anyone...just be careful on the install.

The price for the case is like $24.99 with S/H $3.00. Pretty good for the price and the stuff it includes. Also, when it comes with scratches, even if you are very careful, you will always get scratches. I will be buying this case, but it will be devil. For me, I don't think i will be changing cases anytime soon when i get this case. Thanks for the review!

@DestroyAllN00bs It really is a good case. Even with all the cases I have from the companies, this is one of my favorite. I don't use it a lot though because it is a little hard to put on and take off, but if you are only gonna have 1 case, this is a great case to have.

@JDub1004 Yes it is. Normally rubber cases stick to fabric, but the plastic spine comes in contact with your pants and the rubber isn't very sticky anyway, so it is easy to slide in and out of your pocket.

Ya you can the only difference between the 2g and 3g is software no phisical changes

there are physical changes, but on the inside. What I mean is that they changed the hardware, but the body of the ipod touch is the same as the 2nd gen, so you can use this for the 3rd gen as well.

Only internet, or a local store (so big retailers like walmart, target, bestbuy, circuit city etc won't have it). Try Ebay or just the Switcheasy website. It's really not worth the $25 though... I got a case just as good but not called something fancy for $5.

Yep. And the gigapascal still has basically no scratches. Only like 1 or 2 tiny ones that you can't even notice, and I have used it without a case a few times.

ya, but you still may get a few small scratches from putting it on and taking it off because that back is very prone to scratching. Those scratches are really not under your control though. My old back had scratches from putting on and removing cases even though I was very careful, although I do that alot since I have a lot of cases. You would not have to worry about it too much.

no, it absolutely does not. the first gen has like a different edge than the 2g. this case is specifically for the 2nd and 3rd gen, and will not fit first gen models.

they have a different design. This has the rubber layer and a plastic spine over it. The neo-touch has 3 layers. A thin rubber layer, then a plastic piece, and then another plastic piece.

Thanks, and from my experience the signal is not affected at all. The case is rubber and plastic just like the wifi cover on the touch is plastic. You shouldn't notice any affect on the signal.

The case is not very thick. Its not the thinnest case but it is by no means the thickest. I still find that my ipod is quite thin with the case on. If you want to see your ipod, then get the iclear. I have heard that is a great product too, but that won't add much shock protection because there is no rubber on it. Also, the wifi connection is not affected at all.

the rebel touch comes with a dock adapter like any ipod does but this one allows you to dock it with the case on and you don't need a dock to charge or sync. You can just use the included usb cable.

the slider is nice, but is not worth 35 dollars. it scratches the back of the ipod and it comes with nothing else. the rebel comes with 2 screen protectors, a cleaning cloth, a dock cover, and movie stand. get the rebel
