In on an island called Bornholm, in the Baltic Sea. We've had some hefty snowstorms in December. Got about 1½ meter of snow in 2 days. People in the country couldn't get out of the house and a woman gave birth at home. The woman that helped her with the birth, skied 7 kilometres on skis, because there wasn't any other way. Pretty exciting. I had trouble visiting some friends who lived just a few streets away.
The fucking weather?! Really?! The FUCKING WEATHER!? WTF! I can have a conversation about the weather with a stranger. THIS IS YOUTUBE there are peole doing tihgns infanitly more interesting on here than talking about the WEATHER! And if youtube fails, I can watch some porn. BUT THE FUCKING WEATHER?!
I personally can agree with japan on that. Here where I live its pretty hot year round and it only rains in the summer. I know what you mean about wanting thunderstorms lol! there is something about them that makes you miss 'em. ^^
In North Dakota it's been wacky too. It's been in the low 50's and rainy for the last week and now all next week it'll be in the 70's and possibly sunny. It's not normal! Not for North Dakota anyway.
Like, one day it would be hot, then in the middle of the night random
thunderstorms would happen. It gets really humid in the morning now.
A week ago, the weathers and hurricanes were crazy in Mexico and
it spreaded all the way near where I live and I don't even live that close to Mexico (we don't get any natural disasters here besides thunderstorms) We almost had a tornado. It was trying to form, but wouldn't. It was a scary experience.
I am from sweden. The rein most have stopt her under September :D bekus it has bin a very reine up her. only September 21, my B- day was sonny and worm. :-/
I read its been the hottest summer on record in Japan. As for me im in the SE US and its be very hot and humid as normal....NO rain which sucks as my lawn is dried out and dying. As for global warming im still not sold on the notion as of yet. I also enjoy storms in general...when i was a kid i would watch major thunderstorms in my garage outside...was always fun! PS. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! lol what is that sound? ahhh!
@dre3k78 I know, I know. It's my built-in computer mic buzzing. I've ordered a new camera and once I get it hopefully the buzzing will go away. At first I thought it was the AC blower, then I thought it was speaker feedback. Turns out it's just the case shaking. Next time I'm going to try putting my computer on something softer to see if that absorbs the sound.
I just waded through three inches of water at my MA Sumida train station and then walked fifteen minutes through some crazy cats and dogs rain two weeks ago, with out any gear. No fun. For the last four years in Japan, I think I have been wet 50/60 percent of the time.
So, I think the whole "June Rainy Season" is a load of crap. LOL
It has snowed every Janurary here in Nakano. It's not a blizard but you can make some healthy snowmen/angels before it turns to slush.
@sargeantharker Now that you mention it I did see a small snow pile (about 2 cubic feet) of snow in a shady spot next to a building in Ikebukuro. But I've never seen enough to make a snowman much bigger than an average teddy bear.
In my opinion, that's NOT snow. It has to stay on the ground long enough to require snow plows and to create icky black slush from the streets.
Don't listen to megamanx, I think it's a cool blog. Tells me a little about the weather there! I could live there someday.....

@Rokkiteer That's insane. Since I don't like cold that's not really something I ever want to see, but that's just crazy!
Thanks for sharing!
