I can't speak for all Satanists, but personally I just think he does a great job of pointing out the hypocrisy of society. The media takes people like Manson, turns them into symbols of evil to unite Americans against a common enemy, but then get all surprised when kids emulate what they see. That's a big theme in Manson's philosophy.
