Because some of us want Warcraft to go back to the old feeling again if they make another - Warcraft 1's gameplay is so dated that it's depressing to play these days, yet there's no other game in the series that nails that particularly awesome feel like Warcraft 1 does. (Not even War2).
Sure we ain't playing War3, but just accepting its changes won't support our own cause and desires, now do they? If we complain, there's at least a tiny chance...

I think I mostly regret that I feel there's a lot of potential in a dark Warcraft game that's being wasted on the brighter games.
The first two Warcraft games were...just out there. The first one was definitely darker, closer, you felt like everything was about survival, but death was around every corner. It was morbid.
Warcraft II, while arguably better in a lot of ways, was a more traditional story of conquest and defense.
Blizzard just ruined Orcs. At first, they were bloodthristy, and now, they are peace-lovers. I hate you Blizzard just for ruining an awesome race. And no, I am not searching that they spawn demons back. But Blizzard seriously screwed them, and the WoW players are supporting it. I am thinking of never going to play WoW again.
Is this music played under dosbox then recorded or is this midi file played in an advanced midi player like Xmplay or something? It sounds very different to what WMP makes of the midi files. This sounds excellent.
@Medawky I used program "Wardraft" and extracted original midi's from FDATA. Then I converted midi to mp3 with any program (I don't remember name, it's 2 years ago), it made this "quality".

The old Orcs had plenty of potential for character depth - just because they were bloodthirsty and evil doesn't negate the possibility of them having individual character traits (A particular chieftain might prefer to punish his warriors in a particularly amusing fashion that set him apart from others for instance).
Yes games change, but not always for the better and if we think they've changed for the worse, we have the right to express our disdain for it.
I still often play the Warcraft series these are the bests! But WoW is only a fun game without soul of the Warcraft! The only good in the WoW, we can adventure in same world, however the blizzard will ruin the world too, after the story. :-(

It's hard to imagine a blizzard game ending with the villains winning now, yet it happened in a few of their earlier games (Brood War and Warcraft I especially). Before someone mentions Arthas in TFT; he didn't so much win as not lose - he survived but lost a huge chunk of his army to Sylvanus and didn't actually kill Illidan either.
@johanellstrom Sadly for all the Warcraft RTS lovers, it's a continuation of the Warcraft series and lore, which is a real mood killer for all the people who truly enjoyed the RTS. Sadly I do not play the RTS nor have I, I just cannot get myself into it. But I do play WoW and the lore isn't 'murdered', it's just moving on on its own game.
I admit, MMOs are fun for a while, but I tend to get bored with them after a while. And there's no way in hell I'm going to pay a monthly subscription for a GAME when I could just play another like it for free.
I felt the same way but now after I have payed for WoW and played other free MMO's since then I always go back to WoW.
The Free MMO's are great but from what I've seen they lack any real content or story that makes me want to play it. For now I'll play WoW, when Star Wars The Old Republic comes out I might go try it, maybe it will be interesting enough to tear me away from paying Blizzard and start paying another amazing developer.
Those people can think whatever they like, but the fact remains that Wow IS canon. The only thing that WON'T be considered canon is that we ourselves killed off the major characters, like Illidan and the LK. If and/or when a WC4 is made, most likely they'll refer to us as "alliance/horde forces" who assisted the big names in the major story arcs, like Maiev.
