  • that was awesome!!! poured the whole bottle!!!!!

  • Does Glencairn actually produce the glasses or they are more a marketing and ad specialty company now ?

Seems like its Stolze that really manufactures it, anyways it a great glass nonetheless.

  • @EdT586

    They are designers and importers.

  • "That glass is meant to look aesthetically pleasing, when poured the correct measure.. "

    "Ready for your peaty moment?"

"I'm sure a wiser man will be able to give you the exact reason"

Hillarious! best laugh I had in a while! BEST!!

  • So, I'm assuming that will be your glass for when your doctor forces you to one glass of whisky per day...

  • The face sniffer! That glass would be amazing for the nose lol

  • I was surpised that the level of spirit be at the widest part of the belly, I usually keep it below. The nose of the glass varies with the level of spirit due to the effects of fluid dynamics. Reserving the belly as a gas vessel allows, the harsher, lighter volatiles to rise quicker due to a gas depression caused by the widening of the vessel, and keeps the more desirable aromas contained. You should be able to get your nose in the glass quicker if you keep your spirit low in the belly.

  • ive really got to get myself some glencairn glasses. im drinking my whisky from an absinthe glass, doesnt seem right.

  • is the 71b still unavailable? can't you blur out the flask/sensitivities?

  • @BlackbeardArghh

... would'nt do that ! ...if it's in it's in ! and hopefully this missing Vlog can appear again. I'm working on it !

  • AHAH!Holy s***t!What a hell of a Glencairn!I've bought mine from Scotland and i love it, perfect glass for Single Malt. What a pity for the part b.

  • Hi Ralfy, enjoying your vids! But I was wondering will part 71b uploaded? I am a little bit of a glass fanatic.

  • @sawyerrogier ... had to be suspended due to sensitivities of a Whisky Producer over the appearance of their Flask in the Vlog.

  • What a killer dram, and a little waste, too...

  • Now that's a glass! How fun it be to tackle a "dram" that size. Just don't cremate my pickled carcass. It would take 3 weeks to extinguish the flames. Does anyone know off hand if it's possible to acquire one of those mega-glasses? I'm sure it's not. Even if it were available, I'm sure I couldn't afford it. I'll just have to settle for the human size glasses.

  • ... currently suspended from public view due to sensitivities over some of the content with a prominent Whisky Producer.

... normal service hopefully resuming soon.

    thanks for asking !!!

  • Nice one, Andy!

  • The huge glass seems to be perfect for the Worlds largest bottle of whisky (105,3 litres Tomintoul 14yo).

  • i always liked the short straight stubby glasses....not a fan of the wine glass look

  • wow litle glass that one

  • and led on hihihihi

  • rofl
